  Stayed at the Sierra Motel, address 380 E. Sierra Ave. Portola Ca 96122. for business on Friday, January 30 had room 114 when I pulled the comforter and sheet top sheet back I found bugs. I took pictures and reported it on the sign in log we used for work and then had to get another room as it was late night and no housekeeping was available. This is a sign that the bedding is not clean and and is unsanitary. Weather you stay in a motel for business or pleasure. Nobody should have to deal with bugs in the room or in the bed, the room should be cleaned thoroughly for each guest to enjoy their stay. I have included photos. Hope the problem is eliminated.

  Good coffee, nice people right by the river and can see the trains. Wonderful little place.

  The beds are hard to sleep on; pillows don't help. The heaters work good. The showers are a bit outdated. They do have nice small frig & microwave. The rooms are small & thin walls. They have update their TV's & cable is good.
