  5/5! My grandparents stayed here recently and couldn't stop talking about how friendly everyone was. A gentleman named Luis was super sweet to them. Really appreciate you guys taking such good care of my family!

  Top-notch complimentary breakfast with a variety of hot offerings (eggs, omelettes, potatoes, sausage, etc.), cold foods (yogurt, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, etc.), and delicious pancakes made to order. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great overnight stop on the way to Sequoia National Park, or whenever you may find yourself in Porterville.

  I choose this hotel due to the proximity it was to Yosemite National Park and the Sequoia National Park. I was unfamiliar with this area and wish I had chose somewhere else. I am only given the hotel a two star rating because the staff was nice. The room was not clean, but the bathroom was the worst. The bathroom smelt like sewage, we had to take every towel and wash cloth to cover up the drains in the restroom to try and prevent the smell, but it didn’t work. We were unable to shower at this hotel because we were afraid that the sewage smell could be dangerous. When we first arrived, we just dropped off our things and left. The bathroom door was closed so we didn’t think much of it. We came back and it was really late and that’s when we discovered the foul sewage odor and started to see how unclean the room actually was. Despite the smell, we chose to stay in the room due to how late it was. When I woke up, I discovered what appeared to be a blood stain on the bedcover throughout the sheets. The carpet was unclean, the corners of the room needed cleaned desperately, the widow was extremely dirty and hard to see out of, and again, the bathroom was beyond gross with the sewage odor and everything looked so dirty in there. When we were checking out the next morning, we did explain our issues. The staff member was polite and said that they would tell the manager. I am an IHG member, the manager never reached out to me, no phone call, no email, nothing. The location I found to be unsafe, lots of homeless people in the area. While I was waiting in the parking lot in the morning I saw a man dumpster diving in the trash area of the hotel. I mean at least he wasn’t asking for money, he was trying just trying to get cans, but there were several other homeless people with signs asking for money extremely close to the hotel. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Find a better cleaner hotel in a better location. I wish I had done more research. I can’t believe this hotel has has 4.3 rating, definitely a 2 star rating from me.
