  Comfortable queen bed, clean, and fantastic location. Good value for what it is. I had a good check-in experience, and they have a bike available for complementary use.However, my shower would not drain, and there was some noise (footsteps) from the floor above when people walked around. The rooms are small with very little natural light.

  They are overbooked and canceled my fully paid non-refundable reservation. They never called me and I’m now on the street at 1 am searching for a new hotel. Good luck for me.

  Stayed for two nights while taking a class at Stanford. Room was comfortable: very clean, good WiFi, excellent pillows, room stayed very cool, water provided for the keurig. Breakfast was really good as far as hotel breakfasts go - plenty of options and plenty of coffee which is key. As far as my stay service was excellent. There was always a live person available and they were helpful and friendly. Very convenient location - tons of walkable restaurants and coffee shops, and a brisk walk onto campus. I had a couple of friends stay as well and their impression was the same. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend, huge value.

  I had a very pleasant stay at Keen Hotel. Check-in was quick and efficient, and a special thank you to Neolani at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and made the whole arrival experience smooth and enjoyable. The hotel felt modern, clean, and well maintained. My room was on the third floor and was quite compact, but it was comfortable and well suited for a solo traveler. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The only downside was the noise at night. My room was located near a restaurant that stayed open late, and on the weekend there was noticeable noise until around 1:30 AM. I was still able to sleep, but the soundproofing could definitely be improved. Breakfast was convenient and offered a good variety of options for a quick start to the day. Overall, I had a positive experience. The friendly service, cleanliness, and convenient location made for a very enjoyable stay.

  TLDR: Encountered an after-hours receptionist on a crazy power trip and threatened to kick us out over hotel rules he made up on the spot. This was our second time staying at Hotel Keen and location, rooms/cleanliness, and day staff are great. HOWEVER, my friends and I came back to our hotels after hours Saturday night and was met with the rudest and belligerent after-hours receptionist I have ever encountered in my life. We walk in and he was asleep on the couch. My boyfriend leans on the elevator because it was like 2-3am and we were tired. Suddenly the man gets up and yells at us and saying we have to leave, and only people with keycards can enter the hotel. We explain that we all have rooms and this is our second night there. He threatens to kick us out saying "do you want to sleep or not". I tell my bf to bring my card down to show him I have a card and a room and suddenly it's "1 person per room only" ??? This guy is out of his mind because that makes no sense. So now he screams for our room number so he can "check". We give him the wrong room number on purpose because we don't need him retaliating and sabotaging us. I know he was full of BS when he "checks" on his computer and suddenly I can go up. If you ever encounter an older man named Al during afterhours do yourself a favor and ignore him because he's out of his mind. He was asleep on the couch, doors unlocked, and suddenly he wants to be top tier security. Every other receptionist was otherwise lovely. Somebody put a leash on that man and don't let him work the front desk ever again.
