  I recently stayed here for 1 night. If it wasn't for the service and hospitality, I would be giving it 2 stars. Let's be honest the place is run down. They are really trying though. You walk in and the lobby is very cute. I loved the art collection with the kitty drinking a martini! It's very colorful. You can tell the place is old and needs some renovations but it's still fun. The hallways are pretty dingy and smell stale. The rooms are basic but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The robes in the rooms were nice for going to the pool. The pool was pretty dirty and don't look at the bottom of the furniture. But it was fun to float around on a pink flamingo and drink margaritas! Speaking of margaritas, our check in was supposed to be at 4. We were very tired from hiking all day and also wet because it rained on our hike. We were really looking forward to checking in and showering but the room wasn't ready until close to 5:30. This was super frustrating and I would have left quite a poor review but the staff was very accommodating. They gave us free margaritas while waiting for our room and then offered $50 food credit for the inconvenience. We used it for lunch the second day at their onsite restaurant which was very good. Everyone onsite was super friendly and welcoming. We used the beach cruisers the second day too and it was great. The cruisers aren't well maintained so we couldn't go too fast but we were able to go on the nearby CV link trail and see beautiful mountains and golf courses. It was a very nice peaceful slow ride. Would I be rushing to stay here again? Honestly I'm not sure. I did appreciate the value for the price I paid and the staff was very nice, but the room not being ready to 5:30 and the general disrepair of the place didn't leave the best taste in my mouth. I did check out some other hotels downtown on my visit such as the Thompson. That one wants four times as much, so when you think about that, the Saguaro might not be that bad of a deal.

  I’m giving the hotel itself 3 stars because we met some wonderful people. The rating for room, service and location are a 1. My cousin had stayed a few years back I visited her that it was a cute little place, that’s why I stayed. Talk about disappointing, we got to our room to find dirt on one of the comforters. I tried calling the front desk numerous times but the line just rang. This was about 8:00 pm on Friday. The carpet was gross, if you walked barefoot your feet would be black. I’m a beach girl and don’t wear shoes inside, hence the gross carpet. I found a few huge cockroach’s in our room, and a cricket. It seemed all ice machines were down except one by the pool area. Bathroom floors need a good steam cleaner on them. The tub was stained and so tiny. There was a curved shower curtain I guess to make it feel bigger. A screen on the sliding door would have been nice. The room smelled musty and the TV didn’t work. The staff at the pool, restaurant and bartender for the drag meet and greet all seemed overworked. Most were friendly, some you could tell they didn’t want to engage. Hopefully management and staff will see this and some action will be taken, especially some post reported black mold. The positive amazing guest made some new friends and the drag brunch was awesome

  I LOVED this hotel. You can tell by the quantity of pics i took haha. It's like staying in Barbieland, everything it's so colorful, so summery and youthfull idk how to explain it. The pool was awesome, like a pool party during the day, and at night so relaxing. The rooms are sooo pretty, have many comodities, even the pillows were amazing. I highly recommend staying here, fhey also make drag events, board games, shows, etc. If you want a different experience and are open minded, you'll really like this hotel.

  I came here for Splash House after hearing this was one of the fun/“it” hotel to stay at for the weekend. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty underwhelming, especially considering the price. It seems like much of the Splash House crowd and energy has shifted over to the Renaissance, which felt newer and more modern and had a stronger pool party lineup during my visit. The rooms here were decent. Ours overlooked the pool, which was nice, and thankfully the AC worked extremely well. The room was stocked with plenty of towels and even makeup wipes, which I appreciated. Overall, it was comfortable, but the property does feel a bit dated. We also ate at the Mexican restaurant. I personally didn’t enjoy what I ordered, although my friends were happy with their dishes. One of my biggest complaints was the drink pricing. Paying around $18 for a canned seltzer felt excessive, even for a hotel during a festival weekend. I had also heard that in previous years the courtyard DJ and festivities continued until sunrise, but during our stay things wrapped up much earlier. Another frustrating change was access between the Splash House hotels. During our visit, hotel wristbands were required to enter certain hotel areas after the pool parties. I wish this had been communicated more clearly beforehand because it affected the experience we were expecting when choosing where to stay. There was also some confusion with a DoorDash delivery. I requested delivery to my room, but it was left downstairs instead. When I called the front desk, I was told it had arrived. Once I went downstairs, another employee told me nothing had been delivered. I eventually had to speak with someone else to locate it. It wasn’t a huge issue on its own, but the inconsistent communication added to the frustration. Overall, there were some positives, the pool-view room was comfortable, the AC was great, and the property has a fun retro feel, but for what we paid, the overall Splash House experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. If I return for Splash House, I’d definitely choose a different host hotel next time.

  Fuyez! C’est une catastrophe. Tout est vieux, mal entretenu , la piscine est salle. Sur le papier l’hôtel faisait rêver: Couleurs flashys , ambiance très Barbie, tout semblait nickel. On y a passé 1 nuit en août et on a vite déchanté. En fait c’est un motel au prix d’un hôtel . L’entrée des chambres se trouvent sur le parking au bord de la route. La moquette des couloirs qui mène à la piscine est dans un état déplorable. Les parties communes sont sales . L’entretien laisse à désirer, l’eau de la piscine était sale. .Je ne vous parle pas des déchets laissés là, les transats pourris le matériel est vétuste. Le bar au bord de la piscine était fermé, de grandes bâches tendues , même pas d’eau à disposition alors qu’il faisait 40 degrés.La climatisation dans la chambre était poussiéreuse. Seul le personnel est sympathique. C’est un hôtel pour jeune fêtard comme on en trouve à Benidorm en Espagne mais pas du tout pour une famille avec ado recherchant des hôtels de qualité, notre agence nous l’avait recommandé je pense qu’il n’y ont jamais mis les pieds auparavant pour le conseiller à leur clientèle ! Heureusement il n’y avait pas grand monde et pas de « fête avec DJ » prévue ce soir là 😥
