Stayed in Palm Springs on our way home from the coast. Las Brisas was close to town and very accessible. Rooms were comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was typical for a Best Western Plus.

I don't really understand why this hotel has such good reviews. It's not bad, but I was expecting more for $200/night as a solo traveler. The room is very noisy. (C109). There was a door to the next room, television, nose blowing, everything was heard. In the morning, the feet on the floor above me were pounding. It was not good to sleep here. The breakfast is pathetic. Very, very simple food in a small, depressing, unattractive room. The orange juice is bad. The bread is unhealthy American toast. Maybe because I'm European, but this was a disappointment. Now that I'm writing my review, I see that it's $96 next week. Why should I pay $200?

My stay was completely unplanned, full spur of the moment, jump in the car and drive for a bit kind of thing! I searched google for a place to stay, convenient to Palm Springs downtown. I'm so glad this was the place I chose. From check in to check out the stay was pleasant. The room was perfect, as shown, fully stocked, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The shower pressure was good, and the offered toiletries sufficiently stocked. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I'd love to have those pillows in my own home. Everything was well cleaned, the only "dust" found was my own glasses case. The grounds are very pleasant. Well laid out, easy to find everything, ample parking (at least for this trip, I can't speak for higher volume times). The pool looked fun, and even has a small pool side bar, shaded seating, and looked well cleaned. My only bummer was to get to the pool bar just before the end of "Happy Hour" only to be told he had already closed up for the day (it was 5 til closing, but I'm aware there's probably procedures that need to be completed before closing, and guess they start on those ahead of time for efficiency. The breakfast was well stocked and had a decent variety of options. I left the property sufficiently rested, fed, and ready to face the day.

Okay, here’s my take on this place. You get what you pay for, and I chose it because it seemed kid-friendly, breakfast was included, and it was reasonably priced compared to other options. We couldn’t afford much right now, but we still wanted a getaway. The breakfast was included, but it was pretty basic. We had two-day breakfast passes and ended up going to another restaurant for the second morning. Palm Springs is mostly known for the swimming and tanning, but we couldn’t even go in the pool because it was small, overcrowded, and the kids were coughing, sneezing, and spitting in the water. We were in building B with a one-year-old, which I don’t recommend for anyone with kids. The loud music played until 2 am, which made it more of a chore than a vacation. I understand it was in downtown, but hotels usually have to make accommodations for guests when they choose loud locations. The windows and doors could be better insulated to improve soundproofing. The 2 queen beds room was small, barely any space to move around. There were also three silverfish on the ceiling, although there were no other bugs in the rooms, thankfully. The bathroom and sink were separate, which is not ideal for me. On the positive side, there was a fridge, a pretty comfortable bed, and friendly staff. If you’re just looking for a cheap place to sleep and won’t be at the hotel all day, this might be a good option.
