  Hotel is run down quite a bit. The carpet in the elevator looks like it came out of a barn. Front sliding door worked half the time. A/C would shut off randomly keeping the room very warm. Room 350 the door doesn't shut and lock unless you pull super hard on it. Also the couch in my room looks like they got it at a rummage sale. Didn't touch that. For the price I guess it's right in line with similar hotels. Although Friday morning I was woken at 8am by a guy with a chain saw cutting down a palm tree. I was there 9 nights. Staff was very friendly, just maintenance issues.

  Honestly book a different hotel do not stay here. I haven’t stayed here since 2019 and it has completely changed. Pool states it closes at 11 but guy from maintenance comes at 10:05 to put chlorine in the pool and tells everyone to get out. If pool closes at 11 why not do it at 11? The two gentlemen up front need some customer service skills treat customers with the same respect that they give you do not act irritated at questions. Hotels need to be updated the air systems are old bathrooms are old. I always stay at Holiday ins and this is a very bad one book elsewhere.

  All in all this was a positive experience. The hotel is old and in dire need of overall modernization. But the room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, there was hot water in the shower, the Wi-Fi was slow but functional. The view out the window was, well, a reason to keep the blinds closed. Things I really like about this hotel. + Nice clean pool and hot tub. + Very friendly and helpful staff. + Daily housekeeping without a flaw. + Free parking. + Coin op laundry, omg! + Walking distance to Starbucks. + Housekeeping staff speaks English.

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Palm Desert, and overall we had a really nice experience. The kids had a great time, and the hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The pool could have used a little more cleaning, but it didn’t take away from our stay. One thing we really appreciated was the complimentary breakfast. It was convenient and had a good variety to help us start our mornings before heading out for the day. Whenever I called the front desk for extra towels or toiletries, they brought them to our room quickly. The staff was always prompt, professional, and friendly. Free parking was another big plus, especially since many hotels charge extra. We also appreciated that there were no surprise resort fees or hidden charges, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, family-friendly, and in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Palm Desert

  Really bad place to stay, never recommend. I never received my security deposit back. The service was very poor, and I was disappointed with how the situation was handled.” End of the day you can’t even contact them , no humans only AI. Electronics not working really trouble to dill with microwave and old noisy air conditioning.
