  It was a really nice stay. Had central air. The sweets were large and clean. Had a living space and a hallway n doors that separated it from the room. Tvs in both spaces with basic cable and movie app options. Table and coffee table in the living area with a coffee maker, fridge and ice bucket. Lots of storage drawers, two closets and big bathroom with lots of counter space. Breakfast every morning next to the checkin office. Only thing about breakfast was, though it was cooked for you, its only 2 options. Pancakes and a meat or hash browns and eggs and a meat. Why not Pancakes, eggs, and a meat? Then let the visitor make a choice to have Pancakes or hash browns or both? Then it's one breakfast a person. They did have coffee and juice, toast, bagels, yogurt and fruit. Lots of tables and options to eat outside. There was a pool and jacuzzi on the other side of the buildings. All in all though, it was super close to everything you'd want to see in Palm Desert. Will say their were a few loose steps going up stairs to the sweets that were sketchy. Careful til they fix those. But had a good time and comfortable stay. Service wasn't too bad either.

  First of all, the batteries to control the A/C were dead, so I had to go get replacements so I could turn it on. Also, there was a mat in the tub, but it was slippery when wet and didn't provide any traction, which caused me to slip and fall. The body wash container in the wall holder was empty. And the shower water temperature went from normal warm immediately to freezing cold.

  I honestly don’t even know where to begin because our stay at the Best Western Palm Desert was such a wonderful experience, but I especially want to take a moment to recognize the gentleman working the night shift. He was AMAZING. Truly. ❤️ From the moment we arrived, he was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. He made the check-in process feel easy and smooth, and after a long day, that meant more to me than he probably realizes. He went out of his way to help us, and I really, really appreciated him. I loved his attitude, his kindness, and the way he treated us. Sometimes you come across someone who just makes you feel comfortable and taken care of, and he was that person for us. He left such a positive impression on me that I really wanted to make sure someone knows what a great job he is doing. The entire stay was amazing. Our room was HUGE compared to the last hotel we stayed at, and we were so much more comfortable. Everything went well, and we genuinely enjoyed our time there. To the manager: PLEASE recognize this gentleman! He deserves a big thank-you, some serious kudos, and honestly, I hope you’ll consider giving him a raise. Employees who treat guests with that much kindness and care are special, and I hope he knows how much his effort was appreciated. Thank you so much for making our stay such a positive and memorable experience. We will definitely remember the kindness we received here. ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  This comment wasn't about staffs. They are great and courteous. However, the hotel is old and needs to upgrade. The wall AC was like Mickey Mouse toys. It took all night to cool the room and you needed to stay on the side of the bed that was close to AC in ordered to get the cool air.. The ice maker is "constipated"🤣. Here is what the ice machine was like. You pushed the button a few times and waited, 1 ice cube dropping🫤, then pushed the button again, 2-3 ice cubes dropped 😟 and waited again few more seconds, about a handful of ice cubes came out. The cycle started over again if you kept on pushing the button, about 1/2 the bucket was filled with ice at the ends. For breakfast, please don't select menu with sausages. Their sausages were like pinky finger sizes 🤭 and kinda chewy and dried as if they were sun dried not fried. I originally booked for several days and ended up leaving after 1 nights. PERIOD.

  This visit was great, always clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. Pancake was the best I've had in a long time. Love that the check out time is 12 noon.
