  We had booked the Studio suite which gave us a nice sitting area rather just chairs as well as a nice balcony facing the courtyard rather than the street. The bed was very comfortable as was the large shower that had a separate deep tub. Problem was the stone tile already show water discoloring though clean. The wood flooring could use a wet mop and not just a swiffer. We had chosen the breakfast package though we found out that only covered $50 in the restaurant where the bill would be $60 plus tip. The location is great, with easy walking to downtown Pacific with several great eateries as well Lover's point and the beach. We also walked into the Cannery row. The valet parking (fee included in the resort fee as of our visit). A great place if you know what to expect.

  The room was very clean and spacious, with beautiful decor. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was quite poor. I could clearly hear footsteps from the room above and conversations from the neighboring room. I stayed on the second floor facing Fountain Ave, and during the night, two car alarms went off. I suspect they may have been accidentally triggered by the valet staff. There was also noticeable noise from large trucks passing by. Since the street parking across the road is used by the valet service, if your car is parked there, there's a good chance it will end up covered in seagull droppings. That happened to my car—the entire front hood was covered. On the positive side, the valet staff later moved my EV into the underground garage for charging. Valet parking is included in the resort fee, and EV charging is included as well, which I thought was an excellent benefit. The front desk is quite small, and the waiting/seating area is also very limited. It doesn't feel like the scale you'd normally expect from a Kimpton property. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it's just a short trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. If you're planning to stay here, I recommend requesting a room on a higher floor facing a different street to minimize noise. I didn't have a chance to try the hotel's restaurant, but it looked very nice. Overall, because of the poor sound insulation, I would give this hotel 3 out of 5 stars.

  Virkelig et skønt hotel hvor vi lige kunne komme helt ned i gear. Ligge i gåafstand til stranden. Morgenmad på hotellet var skønt og ligesådan var aftensmaden med gode råvarer. Træningsrummet var super god udstyret. Et skønt sted som helt sikker kan anbefales.

  We booked 3 night and loved it so much we stayed one more night. Thank you Minko for making our stay extra special and taking great care of us. Hotel and amenities were beautiful, clean and new with all the hospitality and charm of our favorite Inn. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is a must, absolutely delicious every time! Abdul and Sam always wonderful and kind. Overall, one of our favorite vacations! Thanks, we will be back soon! Boyan & Kristina

  This place is fantastic! We were blown away from the second we arrived from the kindness of the staff and top flight service. The location is excellent a couple blocks from the beach and a very easy walk. The aquarium is a 20 minute walk away. Pacific Grove is quieter than Monterey and Carmel so we definitely love that as well. Special shout-out to Depeche and the rest of the crew in valet! Those guys really do a great job and are part of an overall amazing service team to include the front desk staff, and restaurant staff. We will definitely be coming back here, as we love this place. If you are thinking about staying here, we would definitely recommend it, as you will not be disappointed. The fireplace in the courtyard is perfect for cooler ocean evenings.
