  We stayed here for a quick one-night getaway and had a wonderful experience. Making the reservation online was quick & easy. Though we checked in fairly late, the staff were attentive & welcoming. The suite was incredibly spacious, clean, and felt more like a mini-apartment than a standard hotel room, complete with a full kitchen. The staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient, which made our quick stay hassle-free. We also loved the location right by the golf course—very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

  The hotel reached out via text prior to our arrival. The gentleman that checked us in acknowledged our IHG status and let us know about the complimentary social hour. Snacks and a complimentary beverage are offered on certain days and we happen to arrive on one of those days. Room- clean on first sight. It’s not spotless, it had some food stains that stand out. It’s very spacious with 3 closets. It’s comfortable. The full size fridge and kitchen area are a plus. It had everything you may need if you decide to utilize the kitchen. Bathroom was clean with a full size mirror. My wife really likes the Dove products IHG offers. The bathroom doesn’t have ventilation. There are no additional hooks to hang towels either. Shower head water pressure is good but it took a while to heat up. Parking is free and there is plenty. There is patio furniture all around to hang out. BBQ area to grill (ask front desk for further assistance). Computers and printers. Gazebos, pools and golf course next door (for a fee). Complimentary breakfast- coffee is located before entering the breakfast area; water can be found before that. They have your typical continental breakfast that includes a Coke machine. My main issue was that on Day 1, there was a man restocking things that didn’t need restocking. It wasn’t very busy. Maybe 4 - 5 guests. He was mainly in people’s way. He didn’t greet anyone and just set a bad tone. The remainder of the trip, there was a younger female and she had soft music playing, greeting guests and it was a whole different mood. Location- Perfect location ! Felt very safe. The Collection is 7-10 mins where you can find retail shopping, restaurants, gym, grocery store etc. Costco and Sam’s are 10-15 mins away as well. Many fast food restaurants along the way. If you’re visiting the area, don’t forget to try local favorites Topper’s Pizza Place or Andria’s Seafood. Checking-out was via text and I was instructed to leave the key in the room. It made things smooth for our departure.

  Terrible experience with this hotel. Management is disorganized and unhelpful. We had trouble confirming our reservation. They initially said it didn’t exist until they “found it in their cloud.” If we hadn’t gone in person ahead of time, our family might not have had a room. Definitely call to confirm your booking if you plan to stay here. We also canceled another room in advance and have a confirmation number, with corporate verifying the cancellation. Despite this, the hotel still charged us a no-show fee and has refused to fix it after months of providing proof. Overall, very poor customer service and a frustrating experience. Not what you’d expect from an IHG Hotels & Resorts property.

  Had a great experience staying here for two nights—honestly wish I had booked a longer stay! The rooms were clean, and the hotel has nice amenities including a hot tub and a beautiful golf course view. They also offer a really solid happy hour on weekdays from 5–7 with complimentary food and drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in the Oxnard area.
