  Very nice and spacious room. It was clean and well arranged. Decent view from the 6th floor. The front desk staff were all friendly and engaging every time we came through the lobby, which was quite pleasant. The Oceanside Marina was a relatively easy walk, where there are some restaurants, gift shops and coffee. We did not try the restaurant or bar. Parking was plentiful and easy as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

  Me and my 3 friends stayed here and unfortunately had a very unprofessional experience. To start off, about a month prior to staying here I called the hotel to add a few days to my reservation if possible, and the lady who answered the phone just couldn't possibly comprehend what I was trying to do. She put me on hold about 6 times and in the end hung up on me mid speaking. At first I didn't mind, assuming she wasn't properly training/ probably new and it's stressful trying to do something you're unsure of how to do, so I shrugged it off. (Eventually I figured out getting more days on our reservation, besides the point) When we arrived the staff was fine, they seemed stoned out of their minds which honestly does particularly bother me as long as they're still capable of doing their jobs. Unprofessional but I get it, we're in California. Had a few stressful conversations with front desk about payments / 100 dollar fees for having 3 separate reservations for one room, it was both my bad for poorly planning the reservation but also I don't really understand why we couldnt just extend the reservation instead of having to make 3 separate ones and then have to pay 3 separate 100$ fees- whatever, it's just dumb policies and stuff not really staffs fault for the most part. We end up leaving and suddenly have a 150 dollar fee for supposedly having pet fur in the hotel- we absolutely did not have any animals in there. When we called asking about this they said there's absolutely nothing they can do. Overall felt extremely unprofessional and like their staff had no idea how to do their jobs. Would absolutely not recommend, additionally their prices were on the high end compared to other hotels in the same location. Learned a lot of lessons this trip lol. Good luck

  Horrible customer service they charged us claiming we brought an animal in because they found animal in our room. WE HAVE ANIMALS AT OUR HOMES AND HAIR GETS ON YOUR CLOTHES! Additionally, we wanted to extend our stay and they said that was fine and if we did it through the website it wouldn't be charged the holding fee again. News flash we get to the desk and have to pay another security deposit after they claimed we wouldn't. We ended up paying the security deposit three times! None of the staff is on the same page. They all say something different. It is very frustrating! I wish I knew the name of one of the guys there but unfortunately I do not. There was only one customer service representative that was good at what he did. horrible never staying at any holiday inn ever again! So
