This hotel isn’t bad. The rooms are spacious and clean. The free breakfast here is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. There is a McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Starbucks next door but other than that there isn’t anything around here.

I canceled the rest of my week’s stay at the Best Western Plus Delta Inn & Suites in Oakley because of how I was treated.
I work night shifts and checked into my room around 7:00 a.m. after working all night. At approximately 9:30 a.m.—after only about two hours of sleep—the front desk came to my room and woke me up, demanding that I move my work rig so a “preferred” or regular customer could park in the space I was using.
The parking lot appeared to be first come, first served, and I was legally parked. Instead of respecting a paying guest, the staff chose to interrupt my sleep to accommodate someone else. Anyone who works nights knows how valuable those few hours of rest are, and waking a guest for something like this is completely unacceptable.
I understand if there are designated parking policies, but those should be clearly communicated before check-in—not by pounding on a guest’s door after they’ve been asleep for only two hours.
Because of this lack of professionalism and consideration, I canceled the remainder of my stay and took my business elsewhere. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone who expects to be treated with basic respect.
