This was an older Inn with no updates. TV is very old and out dated. Room furniture is the same. The breakfast is basically coffee and toast, definitely worth skipping.

Arrived (having used Expedia for booking) having entered two adults and two kids in my initial search. Got a room here booked with 2 queens. But at check-in was told booking was only for two adults and I had to pay another $90+ inc tax to accommodate for 4 people. Strike 1.
Went to initial room, and immediately greeted by the loud sound of a running toilet. Did the usual troubleshooting steps, (wiggle the handle, lift the lid and inspect the float, etc. Everything seemed to work that I was willing to diagnose, so I went to desk and asked for help. I told family don't unpack anything just yet, stay there and wait. The front desk apologized, thoughtfully set us up with another room, and sent a guy back up with me to inspect the toilet who said, "probably just filling from a recent flush" in a dismissive way as we walked to the room. Strike 2.
Got to new room, everything seems great. We took turns using the shower having been on the road all day, by the time I used it I noticed the shower-head pressure was nothing more than a fine mist. I look down and see water pouring out of the base of the tub spigot. Did my best to try and shift the lower fixture (minimal pressure) and it came off in my hand. I dried off, put some clothes on and asked the family if they had noticed anything wrong with the shower, just to make sure it wasn't me/us that had caused an issue. They all said it was hard to use as there wasn't much water coming out of the top and was coming out by the wall on the bottom at the base. So I took the tub spigot fixture that had no longer any connection, and went to the desk again. Front lady was again kind and called to the back for the maintenance person to take a look at our situation. We walked to the room and I apologized for having to bother him again. Under his breath he mumbled something I couldn't fully hear about "being really picky". He looked at the situation called in another guy to help him get parts and fix and said something to me along the lines of "shouldn't push so hard on it". I took this as blaming me and said, "oh so this on us?" He quickly backtracked and said, "oh no its old parts don't worry we will get it fixed real quick." Too late though, for my very polite candor this whole time to have someone try and pass this off on us. Strike 3.
Everything else on the trip was fine. Enjoyed the pool. Enjoyed the location. There was parking near our room each night. Decent breakfast. But getting an added $90 on the expected cost, two maintenance needs in first 2 hours, and attitude about it from the guy really left a poor impression of our experience. Hopefully we are the only ones to get these issues and the other rooms are great, perhaps they are.

We had a great stay at Yosemite Sierra Inn during our Yosemite trip. The location was very convenient for visiting Yosemite National Park, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was quick and easy. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The hotel offered good value for the price, and we would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable base near Yosemite.

The hotel check in process was very tedious. The individual checking in charged an added fee for our child even though we had already paid through hotels.com. They also had very limited parking and we had a trailer so they had us park behind the building and wanted to charge us an additional fee to change the room to be on the same level as the vehicle. We chose to carry everything down the stairs which was an added inconvenience. The room was not clean with noticeable dirt on the floors, bath tub and sink. The ironing board was broken and the air conditioner does not at all control the temperature for the whole room. The people on the bed nearest the window unit were very cold set at 76 and the bed closest to the restroom was very hot with individuals sweating with no sheet on. I would definitely not recommend this place. I tried to talk to the staff person on duty who could not explain the added fees. The stay ended up costing more than other places close by and was uncomfortable, inconvenient and unclean.
