Niente di che, classico hotel della catena. Camera ampia, letti molto grandi. Pulizia non tanto perfetta. La colazione la mattina molto variegata ed abbondante. Posizione buona per raggiungere lo Yosemite National Park. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Staff seem decent but I’ve never come across a hotel where you need to ask for your room to be serviced. Even if you ask a shabby half arsed attempt is made.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Oakhurst while visiting Yosemite, and overall it was a great location and somewhere I would stay again. It’s in an area with about three hotels sharing the same large parking lot, and everything looks very new. We actually ended up leaving Monterey a night earlier than planned because of the wildfires, so we called the hotel that same day to see if we could add an extra night to our stay. They were able to accommodate us with absolutely no problem, and we were very thankful for how easy they made that last-minute change. Our fourth-floor room was beautiful, modern, and HUGE! Despite the hotel being newer, we did notice a few small maintenance issues—a crack in the sink, a few ants in the bathroom, and our shower oddly had a bathtub-style faucet despite there being no bathtub, which started leaking one evening. Thankfully, we were able to get it to stop ourselves. Those minor issues aside, the location was fantastic for visiting Yosemite from the south entrance. There are also two grocery stores nearby and several cute restaurants, which made everything really convenient. Overall, it was comfortable, spacious, convenient, and a great base for Yosemite. Between the location and how accommodating they were with our unexpected early arrival, I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst–Yosemite Park Area for one night before visiting Yosemite, and it worked out perfectly for what I needed. I flew into Fresno late Saturday night and made the drive to Oakhurst, arriving either very late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. After a long day of travel, it was nice to have a comfortable, convenient place to get some sleep before heading into Yosemite the next morning. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located for anyone planning a trip into the park from the Fresno/Oakhurst side. I woke up the next morning, had breakfast at the hotel, and then headed toward Yosemite. Having breakfast available before leaving was especially convenient since I wanted to get on the road and spend as much of the day as possible exploring the park. Oakhurst is still outside Yosemite, so you obviously have some driving to do before reaching many of the major sights, but I found the location very reasonable for an overnight stop before entering the park. It was much more convenient than trying to make the entire drive into Yosemite late at night after flying into Fresno. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay with good service and a great location for my particular trip. I would definitely consider staying here again if I were flying into Fresno and wanted a comfortable place to spend the night before heading into Yosemite the following morning.
