  This is what a best western diamond member select got with 36,000 points. A standard motel 6 vibe. No serenity or what I usually get stayed here before, wont again now . This is not a 212 dollar a night room. Used points for night 1 , got a wake up call at 7 am before 11 am checkout asking about the 2nd day of stay , Efficiency I get it, checkouts 11 am not 7 am asking about my card for day 2. Update: Front desk made it right and moved us to a room w a balcony / serenity that the yosemite mtns present.

  Nice clean rooms but they are dated. Responsive management to minor issues. House keeping each day which almost a luxury in today's market. Breakfast was exceptional with good variety. Real eggs not that powdered crap.other chains serve. Pillows could be better but mattress was comfortable. Unusual layout as pool was a hike to get too.

  Rooms are clean and the decor is nice! Everything works great, however an older gentleman who happened to be restocking towels in the indoor pool was exceedingly rude about pool closing time and toward me during my last stay. I tried to keep it courteous however he remarked "what are you laughing at?" when trying to be respectful. Honestly ruined my night. Experience so far is overall pleasant at my current stay.

  What a great place..rooms smelled great, were comfortable and the property is awesome. The restaurant on site is an absolute bonus. I would support this retro/vintage clean hotel before I'd stay at some of the new ones in town. It is older, but kept up, not tired. I would highly recommend. Super glad we stayed a couple days.

  I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred tonight, 4/18/26, at approximately 10:27 PM at the hotel pool. My husband, daughter, and I were approached by a staff member in a manner that we found extremely rude and unprofessional. The staff member asked us to leave the pool area in an aggressive tone and stated, “I’m not going to put up with this shit.” When my husband politely asked for a towel, the staff member threw the towel at him and further expressed frustration about being overworked, mentioning that he had “too much on his plate.” I believe that perhaps he needs time off and more customer service training. I felt extremely disrespected by his behavior, and his comments led to me feeling both discriminated against and uncomfortable. While I understand that staff may have challenging days, the way this was handled is not acceptable, especially in a guest service role. Given the seriousness of this incident, I kindly request that you review the video footage from the pool area to confirm the events and to assess whether my husband and I were in violation of any rules. I would like to understand if our behavior warranted such an approach from the staff member. Additionally, I would appreciate your feedback on how you plan to address this matter, as it will influence whether we would feel comfortable returning to your establishment in the future.
