Great affordable hotel for exploring Marin County and SF. We come up to the Bay Area a lot and have always stayed at the SFO area, but this time we decided to try Marin County and found this place to be a pleasant surprise. Though not the cheapest, it was certainly of great quality. We had a king room, which was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. The dining area for breakfast was also spacious, and the food options pretty expansive for continental breakfast standards. The lobby offers coffee and hot tea, which was nice. Everything seemed clean and tidy, and nothing looked rusted. The highlight of this hotel is definitely their staff and customer service. Everyone, either on the phone or in person, was extra warm, polite and accommodating. This is not the case with a lot of hotels these days, so their service quality really stands out. The biggest complaint or flaw I would say is the noise from the parking lot and the freeway, as is the case with most hotels in this area. I could also hear footsteps from the guests above in the morning hours. These noise issues are hardly specific to this particular hotel, but it did interrupt my sleep. Thankfully I had earplugs to help with the situation, so I recommend bringing those if it’s an issue. In general, we had a great stay and would consider this our new hotel in the Bay Area going forward, even if it means paying the bridge toll to go into SF every day, it’s totally worth it.

Rooms were well maintained and clean and breakfast was simple but good. Service was very friendly and helpful, but the location is right off 101 so it's loud. I had to get up and check the first night to make sure the balcony door was shut.
