Great location, room interior layout was a little weird, and service was okay.

We had a great stay until our last day. We came back from a day of wine tasting & my suitcase was ransacked (luckily nothing was taken). We called the front desk and they sent someone to the room who did nothing. When we went to leave for dinner I stopped at the front desk to find out what they were doing & they said they could upgrade our room which we didn't accept as we were checking out the next day. Today when checking out they said the manager was going to call me. Still no call. Very disappointed.

We had a lovely stay here over 4 nights in June 26. The property is a clear step up from IHGs value oriented brands like Holiday Inn, but compared to other US Hotel Indigo’s I can see why some reviewers feel it doesn’t live up to their expectations. Overall our room was clean and spacious. The decor was plain and inoffensive - not like other Indigos which tend to have some personality. However what keeps this review at 5 stars is the wonderful staff who went out of their way to help us on multiple occasions (shout out to Laurice!) and the great location - easy access to downtown Napa and minutes away from Yountville make it a great base for exploring the valley. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again using points or on midweek rates. High weekend rates might make me think twice.

I really liked this hotel in Napa! The restaurant, hotel, and housekeeping teams were amazing. Here's what I loved: 1) The rooms were super clean, like 90% clean. 2) Guest services were fantastic and answered all my questions, from "where's the safe?" to "can you turn down the music?" and even "can you clean my Keurig?" (you know those machines are never clean!). I had a lot of questions, so I really appreciated how friendly and professional the staff were. 3) It's close to restaurants and a very walkable area (just a heads up, most restaurants close at 9 pm – apparently Napa folks stop eating then, which is kinda boring). 4) They even sent me a new Keurig machine because I was so worried about the old one and really needed my coffee fix since I was working. 5) The price was pretty reasonable for Napa. 6) The room was beautiful and looked just like the photos Now, here's what I wasn't so keen on: 1) It wasn't a huge deal, but some things weren't perfectly clean – like dusty lamps and stains in the fridge, so I only kept my water in there. 2) The room was pretty dark. It only had table lamps and side lights, no main light for the whole room. Luckily, it had windows with shutters, so I opened them to avoid feeling like I was in a dungeon. 3) The toilet and shower were in a separate, small room. I liked that the sink was in a different area, but you had to close the door to get toilet paper. My 6ft nephew even said it was cramped. 4) The restaurant/bar. The food was decent, and it was the only place open until 10 pm, so manage your expectations. I thought it would be better based on the website photos. The ice cream and churros dessert was delicious 5) The restaurant/bar wasn't really a bar. It only served wine and beer, which is more of a wine bar, not a full bar. I planned to meet a friend for drinks, but he doesn't like wine, so he ended up with cranberry juice. I feel like the hotel didn't accurately describe the bar. 6) The wine selection at the restaurant/bar was just okay. I'm not a huge fan of Napa or California wine, so I wasn't surprised by the limited selection, and it wasn't the best, but I kind of expected that. Honorable not great mention the closet setup was not great when you closed the closet the hangers hit the door. And the hotel doesn't have a luggage stand; I used a sitting bench to put my suitcase on..not bad but annoying. So, as you can see, I had an equal number of pros and cons. I don't plan on visiting Napa for a vacation, so this is kind of a moot point, but I'd definitely recommend this hotel to a coworker or friend, sharing the same pros and cons. What really made the hotel stand out was the amazing staff, from the front desk to the bar, housekeeping, guest services, and maintenance – they were all fantastic. I've included some photos to show both the good and the not-so-good.
