  They accidentally overbooked and had to cancel my room only ONE DAY before my arrival. I booked my reservation a whole month in advance. This forced me to book a new hotel in a further city for double the rate. As a member of Best Western I am disappointed and don’t believe they are withholding the standard.

  Smaller hotel. Room was small with a very large, nice bathroom (1/3 of our space was the bathroom, 2/3 was bedroom). It was clean besides the bath/shower. Pretty sure there's only 2 employees working the front desk because most every time we went to the desk, we had to wait for them to come from the back room. And they both looked tired. When we first came to check in, we waited for a while and finally called out to see if someone was around. She took forever to come out to the desk. There's a tablet at the front desk to check in but it doesn't work. We asked for a room close to the laundry and she told us there was no laundry. Very disappointing since we had specifically checked and planned extra time in our month-long trip to do laundry here. We found out the second day that there was laundry and we were able to wash one load. However, the clothes came out sopping wet. We didn't have time to rewash so we used towels to get as much water out as we could. It was obvious the clothes were not clean so I went to the front desk to complain. He said another guest had also complained and they'd found it needed fixed. He was very kind, handled it well, and offered to rewash our clothes in their industrial laundry, which we appreciated. The pros: -Floor was very clean which was nice since we've recently encountered many hotels with dirty floors. -comfortable bed, bedding and pillows -male employee was very kind and easy to work with. Would have given 1 star if it weren't for him. -nice, large bathroom with lots of counter space and a nice sink -large, touch heated/lighted bathroom mirror The cons: -bathtub was not necessarily dirty but it felt dirty. It could use some bleach and mineral/stain remover. -shower head had build up in, and around the holes which made water spray every direction. Not good for a curly hair girl who doesn't want her hair wet. -no stopper in the bathtub the first night. I called the next day to ask about changing rooms and they installed a plug for our second night. -had to wait a long time, and finally call out, for the gal working the front desk to come. She didn't speak enough English to understand and communicate with us. And she told us there wasn't laundry facilities when there really was. I even questioned it and she confirmed there was not. -washer and dryer are outside. (See my video.) -fridge didn't have a freezer space which I need. -no full-length mirror. Only one mirror in the bathroom so you can't do a fit check.

  The main reason for this review is the bed frame. The bed frame has a light that would go on when the sensor was triggered. There was no way to turn this off (we asked) so if anyone got up during the night, the whole room was lit up. It was really annoying. Other than that, the stay was fine.
