La experiencia en sí no ha sido mala, el hotel está bien ubicado y con buenas vistas aunque no está a la altura de la categoría y el precio de la habitación. Mi queja principalmente es por el cargo que me han hecho por el minibar sin haber hecho uso de éste, nada más y nada menos que 99,25 $USD y que tras reclamar varias veces he conseguido que me devuelvan esta misma mañana. El personal ha sido muy amable en todo momento y agradezco que me hayan podido atender en español. Ojo, a los cargos de facturación siempre antes de dejar el hotel.

What a shame about this hotel. I had such high hopes. We flew in from Portugal to experience the California coast and had planned a night here as we headed north. I accidentally booked the wrong night (the day before) - we were a few hundred miles away so wouldn’t have been able to make it. I called the hotel to ask if it would be possible to change the night to the following night. We had already paid for the hotel, the first lady I spoke to at the front desk said they would allow me to change it, I just had to reach out to the partner I booked it with, which I did. I then called back to say they were going to reach out, but of course I spoke to someone else and the whole approval process started again and the management this time rejected it. So, not only are we out of pocket, but we had to fork out for another hotel. I asked if I could speak to the manager, but during the length of the call they went home and I was asked if I wanted to leave a message on the voicemail. It’s a real shame because we were so looking forward to staying but honestly, especially as from our point of view it wouldn’t have made almost any difference to them, but would’ve made a world of difference to us. I definitely won’t be staying in any more IHG hotels ever again. Hugely disappointing

I recently had an experience that could have completely ruined my stay, but thanks to the incredible staff at InterContinental Hotel The Clement Monterey - especially Concierge, Elena and manager Phillip—it turned into something I truly appreciate.
After booking what I believed was a balcony, ocean-view room through what I later discovered was a third-party reservation service, I arrived to find that my reservation was actually for a standard room—despite being charged $1,400. It was frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.
What stood out most, however, was how The Clement Hotel team handled the situation. Even though the mistake was not theirs, the staff consistently showed empathy, professionalism, and genuine care. They offered sincere apologies and went above and beyond to accommodate me and make things right.
Elena, the concierge, was especially outstanding. She took the time to listen, understand the situation, and do everything she could to improve my stay. Her leadership and commitment to guest satisfaction truly made a difference.
It’s rare to see a team take such ownership and show this level of kindness when the issue wasn’t caused by them. Because of their efforts, what started as a frustrating situation ended on a very positive note.
Thank you to Phillip and Elena and the entire hotel staff for turning things around and for providing such exceptional customer service.

One of the closest hotels near Monterey Bay Aquarium. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great views, centrally located, easy to walk to shops, eateries and beach. Prepare to pay for parking whether you valet or self park. Bathroom is large with shower and bath tub. Robes available during your stay and also available to purchase. Beds are firm and comfortable. Everything was clean including carpets. Stocked fridge and snacks available for in room purchase. Nespresso machine made a great cup of coffee. Desk with little zen garden was a nice touch. Real orchids in the bathroom. Toiletries and essentials provided. Hair dryer and ironing board. Towels were fully srocked. Fireplace in select rooms, very easy to turn on just push a button and instant warm, cozy atmosphere. Adjoining rooms available upon request. I booked directly the website and received a much better deal than going through this party "discount" sites. Bridge access inside to get from one side to the other. Must see in person. Beautiful outdoor seating and fire pit.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Clement for our wedding anniversary for two nights this past weekend! This was our second time staying in Monterey and I had been looking forward to staying at this hotel someday. It was everything I imagined and more!
The service was exceptional from the valet to the bellhop to registration and restaurant staff. We are also IHG elite members and we were given a room upgrade with a thoughtful card and gift for our anniversary. Our room was facing the ocean on Cannery Row with a balcony. It was a very nice, spacious and clean room with alot of thoughtful attention like providing refillable water bottles, robes and an amazing Nespresso machine. There was also a wine bar and snacks available for purchase.
The hotel had a wonderful scent throughout and we enjoyed walking through the ocean vibes staircase featuring a jellyfish. Definitely look for that! We loved having our anniversary dinner at The C Restaurant, but that will be another well earned review on it's own. However, we did have two negative experiences, one was that we waited a bit too long for our car at the valet once and there was an accidental spa charge on our receipt when checking out. I still gave them 5 stars because they rectified it right away and even removed the valet charge for us, which was much appreciated.
I would love to come back to this hotel someday to bring my parents and we hope you love it too!!
