  The location is nice, however this is the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at. They should consider renaming themselves Worst Western. Here's the list of what was wrong: Silverfish in the bathroom Cracks in the ceiling Shower leaks Showerhead hung loose, not connected properly Multiple power outages during the night (affecting my CPAP) NO hand soap at all! Tiny pillows Bad lighting, made the place seem even more dingy Front door had tissue jammed into the peep hole Stains on the wall Baseboards were all scratched up and looked awful Extremely loud, rattling AC that had to be turned off to think straight. Here's the list of what was right: Nice location Good water pressure

  Not the newest Best Western hotel but definitely not too bad for it's age. We had 2 queen beds, desk, chair, refrigerator, and microwave all were fine. Parking was pretty close. Freeway and the town of Marina are very close. The price was good for what we got and it's 10 minutes from Monterey. Beach is a 3 minute drive or 14 minute walk.

  The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It was within a walking distance of the marina State Beach, which was gorgeous. The hotel itself was pretty. The room we got was absolutely disgusting. Very dusty from construction. The floor had stains and debris. Our shower was missing the showerhead. And had writing on the panels that were installed you can tell they had not completely finish the construction in that room. The cable to the iron is completely falling apart and leaves black droppings all over everything, including the clothes you are ironing. The staff did not care at all. You can tell they are only there because it is their job not because they care. The lady that handles, the breakfast is not the nicest and the lady that checked us in at night was also not nice at all and was the first one that we reported our issues with our room to she said she would call us back to move it to a different room and that never happened as well as she never informed anyone else of what was going on.
