This place is awesome! Stayed here for a week with my pup. We both loved it. My truck had some issues with a faulty sensor and I was stuck, but thanks to an amazing member of the staff, a young man named Brian went out of his way when he saw I was having troubles with my truck and helped me figure out the problem and the solution and I was back on the road only thanks to him! It would have been a disaster. Thanks for an amazing stay for me and my pup, dio! Can't wait to come back. Thanks again Brother Brian!

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its convenient location. Otherwise, the stay was unfortunately full of negative points. The main issues I encountered: Completely inadequate gym: Considering the hotel's capacity (about 329 rooms), the fitness area is disgraceful. There is only one treadmill (which makes it practically impossible to use), two exercise bikes, and very few, very old pieces of equipment. What's even worse: the water dispenser was out of order. Lack of maintenance: In the room's bathroom, there was no toothbrush holder, and the toilet was detached from the floor, resulting in water leaking onto the ground (as shown in the attached photo). Service quality: The ice machine in the hallway was not working, making us walk across the entire hotel for a simple glass of water. Additionally, the coffee served in the lobby is of very poor quality. Final thoughts: If you are looking for a basic place to crash for just a single night passing through and are willing to adapt to anything, it might be fine. Otherwise, I strongly advise against it.

Wonderful stay!! We just got back from a 5-day stay at the Outbound Mammoth property and it was an exceptional all-round experience for us starting with the welcoming front desk staff - and all employees, actually. The 3-bed/3-bath townhome accommodations were perfect for our group with plenty of space to gather in the living and kitchen area, and also allowed for private sleeping arrangements. The unit was fully stacked with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. The property looks so pretty with all of the wildflowers in bloom. And it’s in a great location so we were easily able to enjoy the incredible hikes in the area, and also visit the shops nearby. The onsite restaurant and bar had wonderful food, drink and super friendly staff - shout out to “Dirty” and Will at the bar! Stop by and say hi, you will not be disappointed lol. And after a day of hiking and exploring the town, the outdoor seating areas with gas firepits made for great spots for us to just chill, share good times and enjoy life. We cannot wait to stay here again, it really was such a perfect stay. Thank you Outbound Mammoth for making our mini family reunion such a great experience … we’ll be back!!

Updated review: I wanted to provide an update to my original review. After our stay, I reached out multiple times to request a partial refund and discuss the issues we experienced. The manager personally gave me his phone number and email, but despite my attempts to contact him, I have not received any response. Unfortunately, I’ve been completely ignored, which has only added to my disappointment with the overall experience. I had hoped the situation would be addressed, but the lack of communication speaks for itself. Normally I don’t write negative reviews, and I honestly didn’t want to believe some of the bad reviews I had read beforehand. Unfortunately, after our stay, I can say they were accurate. We planned a special overnight trip for our family because the amenities advertised looked amazing. We paid almost $300 for one night specifically because of what the property was supposed to offer, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The arcade games were not working, we were ignored at the restaurant, and the pool and jacuzzi were visibly dirty—the water was even brown. The front desk was also supposed to have s’mores kits available for purchase, but they were completely out of stock. That may seem like a small thing, but it was one of the activities we were looking forward to with our son. In the end, he had very little to enjoy during our stay, which was the most disappointing part of the experience. In addition, I booked the fireplace suite because I wanted a cozy vacation atmosphere, but the fireplace did not work. The soaking tub was another major reason I chose this room, yet the water was ice cold, making it impossible to enjoy. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was blowing hot air, and the hot water for the shower and sinks in our room did not work properly either, making even basic amenities unusable. I will say that the room itself was beautiful, which makes the overall experience even more disappointing. The property has so much potential, but the lack of maintenance and cleanliness significantly affected our stay and what was supposed to be a memorable family vacation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property for families with children. Many of the kid-friendly amenities that influenced our decision to book either weren’t working, weren’t available, or weren’t enjoyable. For the price we paid, it definitely wasn’t a fun experience for our son. We actually ended up checking out early because we no longer felt it was worth staying. Between the lack of upkeep, the dirty conditions, the non-functioning amenities, and the room issues, we were incredibly disappointed. I rarely leave reviews like this, but for nearly $300 for one night, I expected a clean, well-maintained property where the amenities and room features worked as advertised. This version is detailed, factual, and highlights each issue without sounding exaggerated, which tends to make reviews more impactful.

Good location. Very dog friendly. Great crepes food truck on the premises or within walking distance. That’s pretty much it for the positives. This is a stinker of a hotel. Guaranteed to ruin your vacation and you deeply regretting staying here. It’s supposed to be a three star hotel. It doesn’t even deserve one star. The rooms are so tiny you feel claustrophobic. They are really really small. The bathrooms are old and dated and the water is super cold. Did I say the bathroom feels like something from the seventies? Wi-Fi does not work. When you call to complain, you are told that it’s off and on and you should watch the TV instead. Guess what; the TV needs WiFi too and does not work. The carpeting is dirty and it feels like it’s years since it’s been cleaned. There’s an AC in the room but it’s so loud as to wake up the dead. It’s far worse turned on than off since it’s impossible to sleep in the din. Would I recommend it? Oh boy, no. Unless you want to ruin your vacation. This hotel seems like it was built a century ago and not maintained or cleaned since then. It stinks. It’s a stinker.
