5 Stars for The LINE LA! My brother got married and our entire family stayed here for the wedding weekend. We had over 12 room blocks from my side of the family alone, and the experience was amazing. I personally had rooms 1033 and 841, and I highly recommend those rooms for the incredible views of the Hollywood Sign. Next time I stay here, I’m definitely booking one of the suites, but they were sold out when I made my reservation. The vibe at this hotel is unmatched — modern, fun, and full of energy. Also, the restaurant on the second floor was excellent. I had breakfast there every morning and loved it. Great atmosphere, great location, and an unforgettable stay for our family celebration.

Customer service at the front desk we not friendly didn’t feel welcome spoke to manager she said she can’t train customer service to be coming to their facilities. Honestly, I do not recommend this place. I will never be back to this place and I will make sure none of my friends and family would come to this place. lobby was dirty. I really don’t recommend this facility. They need to change staff management. Whoever is running this gig.

Stayed here recently while attending a Candlelight concert nearby and I have very mixed feelings about this hotel because there are parts of it that are genuinely cool and parts that feel strangely unresolved. The location is a huge plus if you want to be in the middle of Koreatown with easy access to restaurants, nightlife, concerts, and the rest of LA. The lobby and common areas definitely lean into that whole moody boutique hotel atmosphere. Very brutalist, very concrete-heavy, almost cave-like in places. It eventually grew on me because it feels like the kind of hotel where restaurant people, creatives, and groups of friends would gather late at night around the bar after work or after going out. The pool area and Openaire were probably the strongest parts of the property for me. Breakfast there was excellent and the space itself is beautiful in daylight. The actual room experience, though, felt much more style-over-comfort. We booked a king suite on the ninth floor and while the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was enormous, a lot of the furnishings felt more sculptural than functional. There were several design choices that constantly pulled my attention because they felt intentionally “off” in a way that never fully came together for me. The room looked interesting in photos, but less convincing in person. That said, the bathroom was fantastic if you’re getting ready for a night out. Huge tub, separate shower and toilet area, robes, slippers, lots of space, and enough room for multiple people to get ready comfortably. The minibar was also surprisingly well stocked. One practical note: if you stay here, I would absolutely recommend paying extra for the hills view instead of the Wilshire-facing side. Overall, this felt much more like a hotel for people planning to go out and experience the city than a hotel designed to stay in and fully relax. If your ideal hotel stay involves reading a book in a cozy room for hours, this probably is not the place. If you want energy, location, nightlife, and a visually interesting home base in Koreatown, you may enjoy it a lot more than I did.

Stayed here for a business trip and had a solid experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Koreatown and surrounded by amazing Korean restaurants. Having an Alfred Coffee in the lobby was incredibly convenient. The room was a good size and felt modern and 'neat' compared to some of the older, dated hotels in LA. I loved the artsy, unique touches throughout the building. The staff were very nice and helpful, which I really appreciated. My only real complaint was the noise level; my room faced Wilshire Blvd, and the street noise was constant day and night. Even with the white noise machine provided in the room, it was hard to block out.

I stayed here with my friend back in September and have been sitting on this review for a while. So with that timeline in mind, some things may have improved. For the price point, I expected better rooms, facilities, and service. The room was dated and had a musty smell. My friend told me the communal office space didn’t have air conditioning and was impossible to stay in for more than a few minutes. But the worst part was the service for breakfast — my friend arrived later than me and received abhorrent treatment that I can only think is because of her skin color. When she left, the hostess ran after her and demanded to know if she paid. When I stepped in and told her we had added it our room’s tab, she suddenly backed down. I’m assuming she didn’t know my friend was with me. We informed reception of this treatment when we checked out. I would proceed with caution when booking here.
