Rodrigo was beyond helpful after a long day of getting through Hollywood. Not only was he helpful, but in a time where hospitality has so many rundown workers, he was a breath of fresh air with his good mood and conversation as we got me checked in. This man deserves a raise and all the flowers. THANK YOU RODRIGO

Room was nice, staff were friendly, generally a good stay. The only problem was that the cleaning crew starts around 7:30, and the rooms aren't well soundproofed, so don't count on sleeping any later than that.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty disappointed with my stay. When I first arrived, I thought the hotel was simply dated and not quite what I expected based on the pictures online, but after noticing several cleanliness and maintenance issues in my room, my opinion changed. The lobby is very small, especially compared with what you might expect from a Marriott or Hilton, although check-in was fairly easy. Parking was okay as well. There’s a very small parking area when you first pull in, with additional underground parking. The hotel itself is definitely dated, and I don’t think the online photos are an accurate representation of how the property looks in person. The pictures make it appear much more polished and updated than it actually is. The room and bathroom could definitely use some updating and fresh paint, and there is also noticeable discoloration/staining on the bathroom ceiling. See pictures below. More concerning for me were the cleanliness issues. When I got into the shower, I noticed straight blonde hair on the shampoo bottle. I have curly black hair, so I know it did not belong to me. Whether it was left by a previous guest or came from housekeeping, finding someone else’s hair in a supposedly cleaned bathroom is concerning. I also found a visible reddish-brown stain on the bedding. Again, see pictures below. I understand that stains sometimes don’t completely come out in laundering, but stained bedding combined with finding someone else’s hair in the shower does not give you much confidence in the overall cleanliness of the room. There is also no restaurant on the property or what I would consider a full bar. They have a small happy-hour setup, but overall the amenities are fairly limited. Initially, I would have described this hotel as simply dated and not my personal preference. However, the cleanliness issues are what really changed my opinion of the stay. Between the hair in the shower, stained bedding, bathroom ceiling and overall condition of the room, I think these are things any guest would want to know before deciding to stay here. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

UPDATE- Your response is a complete joke. Your staff were rude and unprofessional! Your policies contradicts each other. You failed to address any of my actual concerns. The authorization form sent to me has specific options to click- individual items or all charges. All charges include room and stay. I find it bizarre to be forced to click on all charges that, again, include room and stay when that was already paid for via the third party. If your hotel has a problem with third party bookings then perhaps you shouldn’t allow third party bookings! Also, the first person I spoke to agreed with me! The absolute only reason we stayed and continued this ridiculous check in process is because we would lose money because changes cannot be made the day of check in! We were essentially forced to stay or lose money! To reiterate- I was happy to leave a card on file for incidentals and parking!!! No problem at all with that!!! My issue is being forced to authorize all the other options!!! This is sneaky and unethical. Lastly, you are in the hospitality industry, perhaps let your manager, Barbara, aware of that! I booked a room through Hotels.com for two clients whose loved one is currently recovering from a major surgery at a nearby hospital. Knowing they were already dealing with an extremely stressful & emotional situation, I called the hotel ahead of time to make sure everything was taken care of and that they would not have to worry about payment details when they arrived. A gentleman at the hotel advised me that a credit card would be needed for incidentals and parking. He then emailed me the hotel’s credit card authorization form. The form clearly provided separate options for room stay, parking, incidentals, room service, or all charges. Since I had already paid for the room through Hotels.com, I selected parking and incidentals and submitted my credit card information as a one-time charge. When my clients arrived, however, they were met with an extremely rude attitude and were told that the room had not been paid for and that they needed to provide a credit card. I immediately called the hotel and explained the situation to another staff member, who apologized and indicated that everything was okay. Unfortunately, that was not the end of it. My client called me again, extremely upset, because the manager, Barbara Rodriguez, was being rude and demanding that she provide a credit card. I called and spoke directly with Ms. Rodriguez. Her manner was incredibly dismissive& confrontational. I explained that the room had already been paid for through Hotels.com and that I had specifically been instructed by the hotel to complete the authorization form for parking and incidentals. I also explained that I did not feel comfortable authorizing charges for a room that had already been paid for. Ms. Rodriguez repeatedly spoke over me and insisted that all options on the authorization form had to be checked. I asked a very reasonable question: if all charges are mandatory, why does the hotel provide separate options for room stay, parking, incidentals, room service or all charges? Her response was dismissive and sarcastic. I was essentially told that this was simply the policy and that if I did not agree, I could cancel the reservation and find somewhere else. Because my clients were already at the hotel and I did not want to add another burden to an already incredibly difficult day, I ultimately completed the form so they could simply get into their room and have some peace. The issue here is not the credit card authorization itself. A simple misunderstanding could have been resolved with basic professionalism and courtesy. Instead, the manager escalated the situation, spoke over me, dismissed my concerns, and made two people dealing with a serious family medical situation feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. There was absolutely no reason for an already difficult day for these guests to become a nightmare because of the way this situation was handled.
