  Great hotel, staff was great, but breakfast can be limited so go early. Breakfast space was also a little squishy. Great location since close to the Grove and a 25 min walk from urban lights.

  Do not stay here. Our stay started with a tiny room with a full size bed for three guests. My wife specifically asked for, and was assured, of two queen size beds while making our reservation directly with them on the phone. We met another family in the breakfast area that had the same exact issue. Of course they're perfectly willing to bring you a cot for $10 more a night. Breakfast? Our first morning the choices included individually wrapped sliced white bread which we saw the previous afternoon when we checked in. Is it stale? Maybe you can toast it. Sorry, the toaster isn't working. How about a fresh waffle? Sorry, the waffle maker isn't working either. I guess I'll have breakfast cereal. Sorry, we don't have milk. Can I at least have some water so I can take my pill? The water appliance only has hot water, but of course, you can buy a small bottle of water in the lobby for $4.25. The next day, the waffle maker was working, but it was in the lobby on top of a sofa, I guess the only functioning socket in the area. The last straw was our third night. A giant cockroach walking the walls perfectly at home. We packed our bags and stormed out. If you see one roach there's likely hundreds more. Unfortunately, they already charged my credit card for the full stay but I have every intention of doing everything I can to get my money back. I am old enough to recall when staying at a Best Western hotel meant something. But I guess these days they'll sell their name to anyone who can come up with the cash. Do NOT stay here. Do not believe what you see on the website.

  I stayed at this hotel after arriving from the airport. The parking lot was very inconvenient as it made you go down an incredibly narrow ramp to an underground garage that was very difficult to park a vehicle in unless it was a small compact car. The room itself was very odd.. the sink was across from the bed instead of being in the bathroom, and there was basically only the nightstand to serve as a table to eat my meal. Not to mention a bunch of mosquitos in my room that kept me up all night.... what a great first night in LA....

  Very bad place did not sleep good at all. The only good thing about this place was the women in the front desk helping me out

  Pictures online are not what this place looks like. Rundown, no closet, no hand towel rack, older beds, they put a cover over the box spring (lopk at picture), the AC unit coming off the wall, you can hear everything outside. On the plus side I do not see bugs in the room. Could have paid a little more for something nicer.
