I booked this hotel for it's proximity to a conference I was attending. The proximity of the hotel to the convention center is the only positive. The hotel is going through renovations and the rooms show wear and tear. The tvs in the rooms are about 15 years out of date and the furniture is peeling and really showing it's age. I was also here during the construction at the pool so their pool deck was closed while I was here. The customer service team also leaves something to be desired, they are busier talking to themselves than helping and assisting guests. I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel Indigo was gross. I have stayed in multiple “higher end “ Los Angeles hotels this month and this one is the worst . I’ll try to keep it brief. Upon entering my room it had a urinal puck type smell. The bathroom light was on a timer and turned off on me mid shower . Shower pressure was low. Mini fridge made noise all night. All surfaces were worn and dirty feeling. and all the paint on bed rails and head boards was PEELING OFF. Floors were warped and swollen and worn so you could see the cheap composite. There were short dark hairs on my sheets and my daughter and I are both very fair not a dark hair on us nor do we have any pets. The room was FREEZING I went to adjust thermostat and it’s a cheap mini split on the wal With overspray paint on it with a flimsy remote. We both woke up with clogged sinuses probably from bad air quality and dust. The worst of it all was there were actual boogers from a previous guest smeared on the wall next to the toilet that had not been wiped off . When I saw this I gagged. I will never stay here again and I recommend you don’t either . Pick literally anywhere else… This hotel cares ZERO about guest hygiene and comfort. Such a waste of money .

Great location beautiful Hotel. Issue is my deposit. Been calling for a week and you will not talk to a human so be ready for that and some extra facility fees when you check out. But even that is not the issue as that was just $37 not an issue but this will be the 1st and last time I stay here. Was trying from a Hilton member. Just stick with a Hotel that you can actually talk to a human. AI is destroying the world from a communication standpoint. I finally get through in a week mind you to a message that says due to high call volume leave a message. Like wow really. This is a scam. How many deposits haven't you refunded if customers don't check their banks. I do expect a call from the message a left or I have more than enough evidence to dispute the charges. This is utterly ridiculous

Pictures are misleading, front desk is rude, and rooms are dirty. First of all, the room is entirely much less glamorous than the pictures and was just plain filthy. The long bench-style lounge seats were stained with dried up wet spots from god knows what. The throw pillows in our room had a foul odor coming from them and threads were fraying off of it. Not chic and the room overall looked poorly maintained. The bathroom also did not look as pictured online: it was much smaller, countertops a completely different size and color, and genuinely so poorly maintained with mold lining the shower rims. And no, they did not disclose that the room or bathroom pictured would be different in person. The hotel will send you a text once you arrive asking how your stay is and if you are enjoying your room. I disclosed these things to them: the uncleanliness of the room and that my room is different than pictured and they did not reply, which is odd because they are prompt in replying to other texts to this same number. I would have made a bigger fuss of it if my fiance and I did not have time sensitive plans that evening. Lastly, when we called the front desk asking for bath robes and slippers, the woman on the line sounded annoyed and asked us to double check the closet because “they should certainly be in there” (they weren’t lol). We also asked for wine glasses when she condescendingly informed us that there is a fee to use their wine glasses. The woman on the phone did not want to help us with anything. I also asked for bandaids after cutting myself on the cheap bed studs at the foot of the bed and she said she will have to see if they have first aid supplies ? I asked for some kind of disinfectant and instead they sent us up five bandaids in a plastic bag hours later. Also just a small complaint but not a big deal: this hotel will not offer anything complimentary for celebrations. I called a few days ahead telling them we were celebrating my fiancés birthday and graduation just to inquire if they offer any complimentary celebratory welcome gifts. The man I spoke to kept me on hold for about twenty minutes to inform me that the manager will get back to me. The manager left me a message, I called back, and was informed that the hotel does not offer anything complimentary and that my room could be charged for a bottle of champagne. No thanks. Overall such a terrible experience. Please spend your money elsewhere; this hotel is not worth it. Not hospitable, not chic or luxury.

Great stay at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. The location is excellent, close to many places to eat, walk, and explore around Los Angeles. The service from the staff was very good, and the overall facilities were well maintained. Housekeeping was especially friendly, and they kept the room spotless. The hot water worked perfectly, the AC performed very well, and the beds were very comfortable for resting each night after spending the day visiting parks and exploring the city. One area that could use improvement is some of the furniture in the rooms, as a few pieces are starting to show age and could be updated. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and service.
