  We had such a wonderful stay here! A special thank you to Soufiane Kelvin at the front desk — he was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. He helped us with check-in and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed during our stay. It genuinely made us so happy to meet someone so kind and helpful right when we arrived. The hotel itself is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We felt very safe and at ease staying here. Overall, it was a really great experience, and we would definitely choose to stay here again next time we’re in LA!

  I thoroughly enjoyed staying this Holiday Inn Express LAX Airport hotel for two nights! If you are considering staying here hopefully this information will be helpful. Koen, who I met at the front desk and completed the check-in process, was fantastic! He was very enthusiastic, polite, courteous, and extremely helpful. He is definitely service oriented and did everything possible to make the check-in process go as quickly smoothly. The rest of his team, Kelvin, Soukiane (hopefully I spelled this name correctly) and Karmen were also extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, four pillows on the bed were more than I could use and were very supportive, and the Internet connection worked quite well. Having a room safe was a nice benefit for valuables, along with the iron, which I used to remove the wrinkles from a couple of shirts. Air-conditioning worked quite well. And while it would be nice to have the windows open, I completely understand. Given the location and outside noise, that it seems best to keep the windows completely closed as the room is quiet at night with the AC off. Did not hear any noise from the adjoining rooms through the walls either. Parking worked out quite well also. If you have a car, on the weekend nights, there is a parking attendant who will direct you where to place your car when the lot becomes too crowded. Breakfast was great! The breakfast room was very well organized, and the staff was extremely friendly, and greeted me every time I passed by. Skipped using the pool and rec room, why use a pool when you’re close to the beach and can go to the ocean? Yes, I would definitely stay here again. The location was quite nice, and close to freeway entrances, beach, cities, and the airport. And they have two shuttle buses for airport transfer. Thanks to all the staff and crew at the hotel for making the stay very relaxing and enjoyable!

  We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles Airport, and once again, Kelvin made our experience truly special. We first met Kelvin during our stay in 2025, and it was such a pleasure to see him again this year. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with the same kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality that we remembered from our previous visit. His customer service is exceptional—not just professional, but also personal. He has a way of making you feel welcomed and cared for, almost like family. What stood out most was his consistency. Even after more than a year, he remembered us and made us feel just as welcome as he did during our first stay. He made sure we were comfortable and taken care of throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable overall. The only issue we noticed was that the shower drain was draining slowly. It wasn’t enough to take away from our stay, but it is something that may be worth having maintenance check. When we were leaving for the airport, Kelvin even walked us out to our car, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We also took a selfie together before heading off! 😊✌🏽 People like Kelvin are what make a hotel stay memorable. His kindness, friendliness, and genuine care for guests are a reflection of outstanding hospitality. He is truly an asset to the hotel, and we hope management knows how much his efforts are appreciated. Thank you, Kelvin, for making our stay another great one. We look forward to seeing you again!

  Kelvin and Soufiane Turned Our Experience Around Shout-out to Kelvin and Soufiane—they were absolutely amazing! I only wish they had been around when we first checked in, as our initial experience wasn’t the best and unfortunately didn’t leave a great first impression. However, Kelvin and Soufiane completely turned things around the following day. From the moment they saw us, they greeted my family and me with genuine warmth and made us feel truly welcomed and at home. Their friendliness, positive attitude, and excellent customer service made such a difference in our stay. Kudos to these two! They are a great example of what hospitality should be. Please have more people like Kelvin and Soufiane at your hotel—they are truly an asset to your team!

  Front Desk / Reception — 8/10 Special mention to Soufiane and Kelvin. Soufiane was a caring and approachable manager and ACCOMODATING,. Kelvin , our check-in felt more like a stand-up comedy show because of his friendly and funny personality. They made the front desk lively while still being professional. Thank you also to Karmen Gonzales, Kelvin’s coach. I never had the chance to meet her personally, but it is clear that she has a great team with Soufiane and Kelvin. The morning front desk staff member I encountered was a little unfriendly, but she remained professional. Shuttle / Transportation — 10/10 The shuttle driver on duty around 9 AM was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I forgot to get his name. The service was smooth and convenient. Security — 5/10 When we arrived, we were unsure where to park. The security staff member, I believe his name was Lyrone, seemed a little rude when assisting us. I understand they may have been busy, but a friendlier approach would have made a better first impression. Housekeeping — 8/10 Enrique, who Kelvin mentioned was the housekeeping manager on duty, seems to be doing a good job managing the department. The room was in good condition, and we had no major housekeeping issues during our stay. Guest Room — 7/10 The room was typical of a Holiday Inn Express,, simple, comfortable, and classy enough. Nothing overly luxurious, but it was clean, practical, and could definitely compete with other hotels in the same category. Breakfast — 10/10 The breakfast team was one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was very kind and attentive. Special mention to Nancy, who was especially helpful and made sure guests were taken care of. Hotel Facilities & Amenities — 5/10 The facilities were okay but nothing particularly impressive. There is definitely room for improvement in this area. Wi-Fi & Technology — 8/10 The Wi-Fi was fast once connected. The only issue was that the connection process was a little tricky. Once connected, however, the speed was good. Overall Experience — 7/10 Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel has some areas that could be improved, especially the facilities and security experience, but the staff made a big difference. Thank you again to Soufiane, Kelvin, Karmen Gonzales, the shuttle driver, Enrique, and Nancy for making our stay more enjoyable.
