  Perfect Location & Unbeatable Service: "I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Elan Hotel. The location on Beverly Blvd is fantastic—directly across from the Beverly Center and walkable to so many great restaurants and shops.   A cute remodel but a legitimate health hazard. I checked out same day, as I couldn't even be in the building after 30 minutes. As someone who has lived in a moldy "flip" and got sick because of it - I'd say find a better deal in a better maintained space. I left the same day because I couldn't breathe. Environmental health issues aren't a matter of preference - it's legitimately a safety issue. Visible mold on the wall, OLD AC unit on the ceiling that wasn't cleaned (despite their HEPA filter/ environmental claims on their site, a total misrepresentation). There are plenty of alternative options - look elsewhere.

  This place is literally a health hazard. Awful. Don't stay here. Cute photos with some re-design furniture, which is what got me and my friend in the first place, but beyond that, it's gross. I had to leave shortly after checking in because I have a mold allergy and the air quality was horrendous. I couldn't breathe after 20 minutes of being inside the building. The lobby had a slight mildew smell and the room was not better. The front desk was nice enough, but we'll see if we will be refunded. I would strongly advise you go somewhere else, there are plenty of similarly priced options that won't jeopardize your health.

  I stayed here three times. The staff was very helpful in securing a package I had to get delivered for an emergency, and accommodating my needs. This has been a reliable and serviceable hotel. The rooms are nothing spectacular, and don't depend on the TV for entertainment. It's centrally located in Beverly hills, convenient for visiting Cedars-Sinai hospital nearby. Its newly renovated and looks nice inside. The AC is a little slow to cool the room, so set it a while before you sleep.

  I stayed at Elan Hotel from April 11–16 and had a great experience. The location was perfect for a first-time visit to LA—super convenient for getting around. One thing I really appreciated is that the hotel restaurant stays open late, and there’s also a great café just around the corner on Kings Road. Plus, having a 24-hour CVS nearby was incredibly convenient. The underground parking felt very safe, which was a big plus. Most importantly, the hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Nice touches like complimentary water and a coffee machine were also appreciated. Overall, a really comfortable and convenient stay—would definitely recommend!
