  Absolutely terrible hotel, customer service, and management. I booked this hotel for 6 nights at the end of the month. Unfortunately, a serious family emergency came up, and I have no choice but to leave 2 days earlier than planned. I contacted both Expedia and the hotel hoping they would show even a little compassion by refunding the 2 unused nights. Instead, the manager refused. Rather than showing any understanding, she repeatedly talked about how the hotel has to pay its employees and cover its expenses and because I didn’t purchase the cancellation protection. It was obvious that the hotel’s money mattered more than helping a customer dealing with a real emergency and having happy customers who may return… I explained several times that I wasn’t asking for a full refund. I was still honoring almost my entire reservation and simply requesting a refund for the 2 nights I would not be using. She continued to hide behind “hotel policy” without offering any reasonable solution or exception. What makes this even more frustrating is that they expect me to check out early with no refund, while they can very likely rent those same nights to someone else. That feels incredibly unfair. If this is how they treat guests during genuine emergencies, I cannot recommend staying here. There are plenty of hotels that value their customers and understand that unexpected life events happen. I will still keep the 6 days stay if my reservation because I have no other choice, but after this experience, I have no intention of booking here again.

  Great experience at the Élan, we liked the style, super shower and bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Almost no road noise, so we slept well. The free coffee machine was a bonus, and the gated underground parking was very secure, with easy elevator access to the lobby. We enjoyed it.

  Karla was the best. She always asked if they was anything we needed. She also recommended a few restaurants where we could go have lunch and dinner. Another great thing she did was hold our luggage since we were taking a late flight. I definitely will stay again at the Elan.

  The hospitality was amazing! My husband had surgery and when we returned to the hotel they immediately brought out a wheelchair without us even having to ask. Continued to ask if there was anything they could do for us to make the stay more comfortable while my husband recovered. They went above and beyond, even something as small as getting us straws for my husband to drink out of! Highly recommend!

  I rarely write reviews, but the outstanding service from David and the front desk completely deserves it. This is my hotel of choice when I stay in LA, and I love it so much that I even convinced my family members to stay here as well.I recently had a terrible time traveling and arrived stressed, needing to extend my booking, add an extra room, and secure parking. A very special thank you goes to David, who stepped in and effortlessly solved every single one of these issues for me. The overall service was fantastic from start to finish. Will stay again
