The pros to this hotel are the location and price. Rooms were mostly clean, however some had a musty smell and the hallways needed a deep clean. The breakfast was average for a hotel. One major negative was the staff. The front desk on multiple occasions did not say anything when I checked in or out, but instead just handed me my card and walked into their back office. I did visit multiple times to see if it was just an outlier however it happened each time. If you are in a pinch this place will do, but if you plan a visit I would recommend somewhere else.

Our family had a very disappointing experience at this hotel during the Little Fire evacuation in Pleasanton on July 22. Like many other residents under evacuation orders, we urgently needed a place to stay and booked rooms online. Check-in was smooth, but only minutes after we arrived, the evacuation order for our neighborhood was lifted. Because we had two children, three dogs, elderly parents, and a family member recovering from recent surgery, we decided to return home. At that point, there were numerous evacuees waiting in the lobby hoping to secure rooms. We asked the front desk if we could simply return our keys so the rooms could be given to families who still needed shelter. We were not concerned about receiving a refund. Our concern was that paid rooms would sit empty while other evacuated families had nowhere to go. Unfortunately, the front desk employee was unwilling to help. We were told there were no exceptions, no manager was available, and no solution could be offered. When we asked about transferring the rooms to families waiting in the lobby, we were told it could not be done. Throughout the interaction, the employee showed little empathy for the situation and was dismissive of our concerns. What was even more troubling was witnessing another evacuee who had a reservation confirmation being told that his reservation could not be honored unless he paid an additional $100, bringing the total cost to $350. We were also charged $250 per room, despite the hotel's average rates are $119. During an active evacuation, when families are looking for safe shelter, these pricing practices were extremely concerning. California has laws intended to protect consumers from excessive price increases during declared emergencies, and what we witnessed is inconsistent with the spirit of those protections. When we contacted IHG, we were told that individual hotels establish their own policies, which was disappointing given the circumstances. In the end, because we could not get assistance from the hotel, we personally gave our room keys to two families waiting in the lobby and covered the cost ourselves so the rooms would not go unused. Emergencies reveal a company's values. During a wildfire evacuation, we expected compassion, flexibility, and leadership. Instead, we encountered indifference and a lack of problem-solving when people in the community were facing a genuine crisis and potentially losing their homes. As IHG Elite members, this experience has seriously damaged our trust in this property. We hope management reflects on how this situation was handled and puts better procedures in place for future emergencies. We will never be returning.

Bathroom wasn’t clean. Hair on the counter, floor and shower. Paint pealing off the walls. The bathroom also had ants. I called down to change rooms and was told the hotel was sold out so no other room was available. Thankfully I had windex in my car and could spray the ants to have an ant free shower. I had to wait 2 days to speak with a manager who hung up when I said I wanted to speak an issue with my stay. Not a location I plan on going back to.

Hotel and room were fine. Had only one interaction with front desk associate upon check in, which was fine. But this is absolutely unacceptable. Disgusting.

Stayed over Easter weekend as we were all meeting up at Moms, and the comfort and service of this Hotel did not disappoint. As others stated, the maintenance is slightly lacking, our first room, the TV did not work so we were promptly moved to a room next door. Easy coffee service in the AM, but I wish the food was left out a bit longer for us who prefer to sleep in a bit. The staff was always helpful and friendly especially Yahir! This guy went over the top to ensure we were happy and comfortable with our stay. Shout out to this guy!!
