  After a VERY rough couple of IHG stays, the StayBridgeSuites (SBS) Lake Forest Team, showed up, and provided me with an absolute amazing stay and gave me inspiration for more IHG stays...The SBS people, from the check-in with Mimi, to the food teams staff, to the ladies who toil and provide clean rooms..... It was all just an A+++++++ EXPERIENCE. I felt relaxed, comfortable and at home for my four day SBS EPIC STAY. This is a Hotel done right!!!! Clean, friendly and VERY WELL MANAGED!!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL SBS Lake Forest Team!!!

  10/10 place to stay whenever o am in Irvine. Mimi and Jalen at the front desk are awesome and asset to the hotel. The oversized bedroom and suites and the daily breakfast.

  Quiet hotel, pet and family friendly. And the even offer complimentary use of laundry machines. Staff is very friendly.

  Loved everything about this place. Definitely will stay here again! The facilities are well kept and the amenities are great! The staff was super helpful and friendly!

  Staying at a hotel for 10 Days is a unique experience that gives you a perspective and insight that you can’t get in a night or two. So when I give this hotel 5 Stars, know that it is VERY Well Deserved. Firstly, this hotel is INCREDIBLY CLEAN!!!! It seems like someone was quietly cleaning every second of the day. During a long term stay? You might think that would get old, but it didn’t. All of the staff were so polite and they worked around the guests beautifully. I found myself shocked every time we’d get back from breakfast and our room would be spotless. Speaking of Breakfast, there are a lot of options. They vary the main dishes enough daily that you can really have just about anything you want. Make a waffle or breakfast sandwich, have some yogurt with granola, cereal. They even had rice out at breakfast daily which was a thoughtful touch. Dinner was equally as good. The fact that they provide, what I would consider, a substantial dinner 4 nights a week is pretty amazing. They also provided beer and red wine with dinner which was a nice treat. We utilized just about every rec activity multiple times throughout our stay. Ping pong was an unexpected treat and the basket ball court kept the kids entertained for hours. The pool/hot tub was always stocked with fresh towels and was very clean and well maintained. The water didn’t feel over chlorinated and the hot tub was just the right temperature for everyone to enjoy. We booked a wedding group with Rod and it worked out really well for our families. We got to enjoy time together in the great room and all the cousins were able to play together for several days of our stay. Also, this was a HUGE plus for us staying so long, they had COMPLIMENTARY LAUNDRY! They could easily have filled that laundry room with coin machines but they decided to provide it at no cost for guests and that’s really great. As far as location is concerned, you’re about 10-20 mins from everything you could need in South OC and only about 30 mins from Disney. The staff really goes above and beyond to help guests out. The day before the wedding, we had to make dairy free buttercream frosting (let that sink in) for the wedding cake! I went to the front desk and Travis jumped into action providing us a commercial whisk and bowl for mixing. It turned out to be just what we needed to get the job done and the bride was amazed at how our family jumped in to help out from the hotel! Lastly, I will say this…we travel with a service dog, and they were very accommodating for that. Several guests complained about our service animal being in the breakfast room (specifically the self service area). The hotel could have blindly just told us he couldn’t be there, but the Hotel GM met with the city of Lake Forest before saying a word to us to know what was allowed and what wasn’t allowed. Unfortunately, the city failed them and gave them incorrect information, but I don’t blame the hotel at all. I’m confident that if the City had done their jobs and given them accurate information, they would have honored the ADA guidelines. This in no way reflects the hotel management or staff. I honestly appreciate what lengths they went through to ensure we were accommodated even under the pressure of other guests complaining when they should just mind their own business. We were fine with keeping our SD out of that area to help the Hotel maintain peace with guests since they were steered wrongly by their city officials. (However, if you’ve read this far and you see someone with a service dog in the breakfast line, mind your business, the dog is allowed provided they’re under the control of their handler. They don’t even need a vest or leash as long as they’re under control.) All in all I would say this hotel deserves five stars and we will definitely be back when we make it out to California again.
