  Lovely little place in La Jolla. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Spa was nice on a somewhat rainy day. Will stay here again.

  Das beste was man machen kann um San Diego und die schöne Küste zu erleben. Service und Sauberkeit ist 1A Auch die Verbindungen in die Stadt ist bestens,weil der Bus Line 30 fast vor der Tür abfährt. Tip von mir: Prontocard kann man für 6 Dollar hin und her fahren solange wie man möchte.

  Such nice and helpful staff. Always refreshed towels when needed. Great location!! 5 min walk from gorgeous beach. Definitely recommend

  Nothing but great things to say! To start, the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and really made our stay in San Diego great. Nice location made it easy for us to access public transportation. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to San Diego.

  The Shoal was the perfect stay for our reunion with multiple families including babies and little ones! Jordan was very responsive and accommodating with helping organize the hotel block a few months in advance. He gave us different room options to fit specific needs and different budgets and even placed us all in the same row for our stay. The front desk and staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Alfred. We were able to utilize nearly all the amenities including the pool area, beach gear and towels, filtered water, coffee/tea, etc. The location is great and within walking distance to the beach and several great coffee shops and restaurants. If we are ever in La Jolla again, I would gladly stay here!
