  Happy: spacious room. Delicious breakfast with a variety of food. Sad: WiFi was terrible and you’re dependent on it bc there’s no cell signal. Highway noise. You hear semi trucks all night.

  As a returning guest, we were disappointed with many things; given different room rates than other family & friends, our room request for bottom floor was given to a couple who wanted the 2nd floor yet they couldn't do that, and the fact that we walked into the restaurant within 2 minutes of closing (we could still smell the food) and told they would not serve us... my uncle retired in this area and passed away, and we were in the hotel for the ceremony of life, and were away from the hotel and hightailed it back just to be told no. We gambled at the adjacent casino, and were unable to cash a $50 voucher, because of limited hours & accommodation that should be provided for guests! We took the loss because we wouldn't have made a preexisting deadline. We will not be back and advise others to strongly consider the lack of service provided to us.

  Short review: awful/dirty Long review: the only plus is it conveniently located near Redwood National Park. The rest is just not worth it to stay there. The facilities are dated and dirty. Upon check-in (3 rooms), we immediately had to have one of the rooms changed due to a foul odor of body sweat, oil, and cigarettes. The carpets in the hall are dirty/stained. All of the rooms have a damp and musty smell in their bathrooms due to the mold growth. The showers in multiple rooms had long black hair in the drain (I’m buzz-cut and blonde). Being attached to a casino does mean the crowd that congregates out front at night can be drunk/noisy. Hotel backs up to a busy road frequented by truckers so expect to hear that at night. WiFi is quite slow which is compounded by the town not having cell signal. Gym is just a treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike. Highlight - Jerome at the front desk is wonderful and puts in the effort. Definitely a hard worker and friendly. Shame the property itself doesn’t match his abilities.

  This place had “WiFi”, but wouldn’t let you connect to it. All I could get was 1 bar in the lobby, and SOS mode in my room. The staff was super rude too. One person was asking the front desk worker why the WiFi wasn’t working and the worker said it’s normal at that time for the WiFi to be extremely slow. And just told the guy that he won’t fix it. The ac woke me up because it’s so loud and I thought it was traffic outside. The casino is only online games btw.

  Look at this hotel twofold. The hotel was a standard Holiday Inn. The room was clean. Check in and out was easy. The breakfast was good and typical. We did not use the attached casino. The hotel location was perfect for our needs visiting Redwood and heading south. However, we checked in around 8:30pm and there were 0 food options. Let me reiterate. There was no options for any form of food. We also had no cell service. The hotel WiFi was terrible. That being said, options for lodging in this area were limited. This was a safe, relatively affordable option for us where we needed to be. Staff was friendly. Just be aware THERE IS NO SERVICE OR FOOD.
