  It gets a 1 star overall, for a few reasons. After driving 12 hours coming from Portland Oregon 1: While there was technically disabled access, its only one side of the building, and the room was given was not that close. 2: I checked in at 5 am, and by 10 AM I had multiple instances of people pounding on my door, starting around 9 am. 3: There was no hot water at all in my room, either by tap or shower. 4: Day Manager claimed she would speak to her boss about getting me a partial refund, because I ended up getting less than 2 hours of sleep, before having to drive another 11 hours further south. 5: For an area like that, where the temperature was already over 90 by 11 am, especially when you might get guests from states that do not see those kinds of temperatures, you would think that they would have more covered parking for peoples cars, to prevent them from becoming literal ovens (my cold coffee that I left in my jug was almost as hot as if it just came out of the pot)

  Overall decent enough for the price. We stayed as a baseball team. Boys are loud and rowdy. We tried to keep the boys calm and not loud. But honestly, We weren’t always successful. So just want to mention that to be fair in my review. Staff seemed completely overwhelmed and not really the correct staffing team to handle chaos and a group of boys. Maybe they’re more used to customers that aren’t kids. Our baseball team was actually gone for the entire day and came to swim at 7pm. We asked for towels in the pool and the employee came out irritated saying “this was it and they’d already gone through 100 towels today”. Felt like it was directed at our team but we weren’t even there for the day. Overall I feel like they tried to not be irritated with the kids. Didn’t appreciate the cleaning/maids at all. They’d come in and switch towels only. Sometimes take our garbage. We were there for 6 nights. Never made our bed (my favorite thing about staying at a hotel is getting a break from making bed so for me I was bummed).

  good little hotel, rates are fair pool works and i left my ueti there and they held onto until i was able to come back and get 10 days later

  My husband and I had a wonderful time at your hotel. The room service was amazing, and everyone was so welcoming especially Hope at the front desk! She has incredible customer service skills, a warm smile, and a fantastic attitude. On our way out, since we had missed breakfast, she thoughtfully made sure we had coffee for the road. The Best Western Galt Hotel is so lucky to have her! she has beautiful manners and treats everyone with genuine kindness. 😍🥰❤️ Thank you Hope!
