  The hotel is currently under renovation. The pool is open but the jacuzzi is closed, as well as the fitness room. I wanted to get a quick workout in and was unable too. The rooms are very clean and the bed came with several pillows of different softness/firmness. The location of this hotel is surrounded by shopping and restaurants.

  I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk, particularly with Mariam. I already had a reservation from the previous night and wanted to extend my stay. I asked if she could match the price I found online, but she said she could not. I respectfully accepted that and decided to book through a third-party website instead. Before making the reservation, I specifically asked Mariam whether booking through a third party would affect my ability to remain in my current room or get checked in early, and she told me it would not be an issue. After completing the reservation, I provided her with my confirmation number, only to be told that the room I was currently occupying and the room I had booked were considered two different room types. Both were queen rooms; the only difference was that the new reservation was for an accessible/disability-accessible room. I explained that I did not require an accessible room and was more than willing to give that room to a guest who actually needed the accessibility features. I simply asked to remain in my current room, but that request was refused. Instead, I was required to check out and wait in the lobby for more than two hours before I could get into the other room. I had just flown in from Washington, DC and was extremely tired. Having to sit in the lobby for over two hours after being told beforehand that my third-party reservation would not interfere with my check-in was extremely frustrating. The situation could have been handled much better with clearer communication and better customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with Mariam at the front desk left me very disappointed.

  I like the hotel, clean, peaceful, excellent service, good breakfast and their rooms are spacious.

  We had to make an emergency stay here with our pets and the staff was more than accommodating.
