Located along the main way through Del Mar, but far enough from downtown to be a quiet escape, it was a perfect place to see the sunset on the Pacific. The staff are all friendly and professional. This was apparent from check-in: Ursula was eager to help me even though I arrived early, going so far as to call me once a room was ready even though it was still early. The bar staff was great. I highly recommend this location.

I want to acknowledge Barbara Durand, Santana, Saul, and Jordan. They are phenomenal people who make you feel welcome and appreciate the facility. Many of the people have worked there for many years. It says something about the facility.

Our bartender Santana was awesome, helping us decide which delicious drinks to choose from and tailoring them to our tastes. Saul kept the water and food coming, our cups were never empty. The room was comfy, the pools kept us cool and there was so much to do within walking distance. We can’t wait to come back and tell our friends!
- MTMae TrodeSep 16, 20265.0We had such a great experience at Hotel Indigo Del Mar, especially thanks to Barbara! ❤️ This was a last-minute trip with my 8-year-old, and Barbara really helped make our stay special. She recognized that we were Chase card holders and made sure we knew about the benefits available to us through IHG. She also allowed us to check in early at no extra cost and upgraded us to a spacious two-queen room overlooking the pool, which was perfect for us. Barbara was also incredibly helpful in giving us tips on navigating the area and showing us the best ways to get to the shops, restaurants, and beach. It made exploring the area so much easier, especially with a kid. The room itself was spacious and very clean. The only downside for me personally was that the bed was a little too firm for my liking, but that’s definitely a personal preference. My son absolutely LOVED the pools and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We honestly wish we had more time to enjoy all the hotel had to offer and would have stayed longer if we could! Thank you, Barbara, for making our last-minute getaway even better. Your kindness and helpfulness really stood out! We hope to be back!
