The kitchen lacks toiletries, the door is poorly soundproofed, and there is no hair dryer.

My check-in process was fairly swift and seamless. I arrived around 3:00 p.m. and there were a few guests ahead of me, but Kevin at the front desk was very efficient and attentive. He acknowledged guests as they arrived, kept the process moving, and was polite and courteous throughout the check-in process, so no one felt like they were simply standing around waiting. When it was my turn, Kevin acknowledged me as a Platinum member and was friendly, engaging, and welcoming. I had booked the room fairly last minute and was able to get a good rate, which was an added bonus. The room was generally clean and in good condition. I only noticed one towel with a stain on it; otherwise, the bathroom was clean and everything was in order. The only real issue I had with the room was the air conditioning. The unit seemed to operate on a timer, turning on and off periodically, which made it difficult to maintain a consistent temperature. At times the room felt too warm, and at other times it became too cold. I noticed that the window could be opened, but because the outdoor temperature was quite hot, that wasn't really a practical alternative. The television remote was a little confusing at first because of the way the channels were set up, but once I figured it out, I was able to use it without any problems. The hotel provides parking passes, and while the parking area in front of the hotel can get fairly full, I was able to find parking in the back at night. There is also an entrance in the back, which was convenient. One observation I had was that I did not see any security presence or roving patrols in the rear parking area. Given the hotel's location, additional security attention in that area might be something worth considering, particularly during evening hours. The hotel also offers breakfast. I didn't personally partake because the breakfast area was already quite full by the time I was up, but from what I observed, the area appeared to be clean. Based on the number of guests using the property, I would recommend getting to breakfast relatively early if you want to avoid the crowds. The location is one of the hotel's strong points. It is conveniently located right off the freeway, with a Starbucks and a gas station next door. There is also plenty of shopping and dining nearby (less than 2 miles away), including Walmart, Dollar Tree, Jamaican food, El Pollo Loco, and several other restaurants. So, if you are passing through the area, you have plenty of convenient options without having to travel far. The housekeeping staff was also friendly and accommodating. I requested a couple of extra towels, and they were provided without any issue. I also want to mention one final interaction that stood out to me. I had to call the hotel back after my stay and spoke with another young man whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. He was remarkably pleasant and helpful. It's those small interactions that remind you that there are genuinely good people working in the hospitality industry, and they can make a difference in the overall experience of a property. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. I think it is particularly well suited for someone who needs a clean, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay for a night while passing through the area. I don't know enough about the hotel's proximity to major attractions to say whether I would choose it for a longer vacation stay, but for an overnight stop or short stay, I think it is an excellent choice. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again.

My go-to hotel when I commute for work in Riverside. The price is very reasonable, and the service is consistently great. The bed is comfortable, and there is a good selection of channels on TV. The heater and AC works very good each time I stay here. The heated pool and hot tub jets feel wonderful after a long drive and a long work day. The breakfast is good; decent selection of hot food. The sound from the freight trains can be loud at times, but the white noise from the HVAC system mitigates the sound. Other hotels often charge for parking, breakfast, or a resort fee. I appreciate everything being included in the price. Most of the 3 and 4-star hotels in downtown Riverside are quite expensive, even when there are no special events going on. I really appreciate this hotel for being reasonable with their prices, especially since it's part of the IHG brand.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind -from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. They offer many shows on the TV, ice machines on each floor, pool, weight room and breakfast - which was good and they offered options for gf and df dietary restrictions. The rooms were clean and cool. I've noticed across my stays that the floors always feel a slight bit damp in many hotels. But it could also be "cool." They offer many amenities in the room. Honestly, the best hotel that I have stayed at for amenities. They offered Dove products that didn't mess with my hair or skin! We were all packed from a 2 week trip and ready to take off the next day so having those available were so helpful! Noise: We did have some drunk neighbors come in around midnight that were yelling down the hallways. But they left, or quieted down, within 10 minutes. We also could slightly hear our neighbors in the room behind us around the same time but it was very faint. I consider this normal noise level for a hotel. We slept incredibly sound.
