  We are older traveling with dogs. First room ceiling in the bathroom leaked. Second room, too small not what we paid for. Third room tv not connected to Internet and was not informed. On leaving no compensation at all was offered. Rxhausting. Staff tried but hotel was not equipped.

  I'm was a Platinum member of the Best Western rewards program. That is, until I went to parents weekend for WSU and stayed at this hotel. We came back from the first night of hanging out with our daughters sorority to find out that the sheets had not been changed from the night before. We paid over $500 for the two nights. And Best Western offered me $65 gift card. The management of the hotel in Colfax said they did nothing wrong. We will no longer be Best Western club members.

  Took 30 minutes to check a single person in, then the guy at the front desk leaves to "see if the rooms are clean" ?? And multiple guests coming back down with keys that didn't work, and to top it off, someone got assigned an occupied room! Over an hour to check in after I lined up. Absurd. Then there's the dead bugs in the bathroom! At least the sheets are clean... The rooms are well-equipped and this hotel has good bones but is dragged down by bad service and neglect. This could've been a 4 star review with better management. If you find yourself here from a road closure, do yourself a favor and drive 15 minutes back to Auburn. The Motel 6 there is cleaner and cheaper and you'll be in bed sooner even with the drive back.

  What a pleasant surprise! Arguably the Best, Best Western I have stayed at. Beautiful, welcoming lobby. Wonderful staff. The art throughout the hotel reflects the Palouse and it's heritage - very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, well lit with comfortable beds and great TVs. And the pool! Large and warm with a great hot tub although the pool could be a little warmer. Last but not least - the breakfast was amazing! We were lucky enough to be there on an omelette bar day, made to order. And they were delicious. Lots of other options fro cereal to eggs, sausage, gravy, yogurt, fruit and lots more. A truly enjoyable stay that I hope to repeat in the near future!
