Nice clean room with good linens. Concierge is very helpful and accommodating. As the sunsets there is a nice view on the balcony. Red restaurant and bar has decent food and drinks. A nice little staycation with spa amenities.

Bad first impression from this resort. We called in from out of state to book rooms for an upcomimg family reunion we have planned/reserved at the Pacific Palms. It was supposed to be a delightful call weeks in the making, however, it was a disappointment. The young lady at the front desk couldn't care less we we're staying there next month. She said call monday for reservations. Never in my life has a call to a resort front desk resulted in no help no booking. Apparently, we took her away from tik-tok or instagram while on a paid job. She was polite in her tone and brevity however my call was a burden. Its not the young lady's fault for underserving the customer. This falls on mgmt for not properly training their valued employees to receive calls assisting guests. Holiday Inn has better service than this resort. So far it seems our family's choice to stay at the Pacific Palms was a lame decision considering the multitude of options in L.A.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel like this one was necessary. The front desk cashier/receptionist Luna was extraordinary. The was the most patient person with me and very knowledgeable with the area and gave me a ton of suggestions on where to find good food and stores near by while I was staying there. Would definitely go to her again. if you plan on staying at this hotel, you won't regret working with Luna

Brianna at the front desk made our stay even better! She greeted us with a smile, was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and made the check-in process quick and easy. She answered all of our questions, gave us helpful recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests. It’s always nice to be welcomed by someone with such a positive attitude. Brianna’s professionalism and kindness really stood out, and she made a great first impression. Thank you for the excellent customer service we truly appreciated it!

Reserved a standard room via Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk told me only 2-queen rooms were left. I said that's fine. Then he told me actually all rooms were sold out, and only king suites were available, for an extra $500 per night. Not only that, I needed to make a phone call myself to Expedia to ask for a refund. No apologies. No free upgrades. Long story short, I had no choice but to take the suite. Spent almost an hour on the phone with expedia. Then we found out the fridge in the suite was not working. Our food became spoiled the next day. Adding insult to injury, they gave us breakfast vouchers. But when we went to the Red restaurant on the morning of the last day, the hostess told us service was going to be very slow, even though only 1/3 of the tables were occupied. Maybe someone who wants to play golf would want to stay here. But if you're just traveling, STAY AWAY.
