- MSMegan SheppardJun 23, 20265.0Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. The beds and pillows were so comfortable we had a difficult time getting up every morning! Parking on the property is extremely limited and if you want a spot, you need to be back before 8pm. Otherwise you have to park on the street in front of the inn. Carmel Bay View Inn sits at the top of the hill to the Carmel By the Sea shopping area - there are tons of fun shops and restaurants within walking distance but all the restaurants are extremely expensive. It's a little far to walk down to the beach but doable or it's a 2 minute drive down to the beach.

The people that stayed next to our room ( our room was #102) were banging on their door and windows at 3 am then 4 am. They were so loud and noisy and woke us up continuously. This is unacceptable and so rude. What kind of establishment are you? I know you can’t control people but they stayed on your property and disturbed others that stayed there too. I didn’t feel safe when the next door were making lid banging noise at 3 am then 4 am. This was extremely stressful and it kept me awake till morning. There was no attendent to control this situation.
- SKStacy KunnasseryApr 24, 20264.0My friend and I stayed here during our weekend getaway to Carmel. The room was nice and our balcony gave a great view of the ocean as well. Keurig coffeemaker in the room. Elevator to get to our room was helpful and parking is close to our room.
