Had a great stay at Best Western Plus Beach View Lodge Carlsbad! The location is excellent, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable, and the ocean views make the experience even better. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a beach getaway!

From the moment I arrived Sophie at front desk greeted me with a smile and was so kind! She them handed me a map to my room which was rather far away and when I got to my room my digital key didn’t work, so I called front desk and recognized Sophie’s energetic and kind voice and explained that I couldn’t get in my room. Rather then making me go all the way back down to front desk she immediately said she would come to me with physical key cards. Over all that spoke volumes about how they this property take care of their guest. The property and pool were beautiful and I had a relaxing stay. Highly recommend! Thank you Sophie!

The staff is amazing here. My bag split open spilling everything and before I could pick up the first item someone was handing me a new bag and helping me pick everything up. Plus the view is exceptional. The 2nd floor patio makes working feel like a vacation. Can't wait to come back again!

Great location! Park your car and leave it. Beach across the street, walking distance to food, coffee, beach. Many walking distance restaurants to choose from. OK free breakfast...but w breakfast costing $50+ a day...well worth it. Great beach atmosphere and balcony deck overlooking the BLVD and beach w eating tables and patio chairs.

Cool little hotel with a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and well kept. It's a little dated but honestly thats the vibe at the beach. They had a nice little pool and firepit area. The view from the room was cool because we could see the ocean. They have a nice little balcony area to sit and see the sunset. The parking wasn't bad but it is an extra charge. The location can't be beat. You can walk basically anywhere you need to go for food, the beach or just a nice walk. We have this as one of our new favorites.
