  The room was clean, but it smelled misty. The carpets appeared to be damp, but my major issue is when I checked out they charged me $65 for a stained towel which I did have Make Up on it, which is water soluble so they charged me for it before they even tried to wash it. Water soluble means it will come out in the wash. We’ll never stay there again. The manager was rude even when I checked in and they charge for the $10 towel for $65 is unreasonable and inappropriate.

  Very bed experiences with this hotel. 1) broken AC and mobile phone chargers 2) noisy room need ear plugs to sleep 3) double charge three nights w/o telling me. The front desk staff told me just for deposit. I found it by myself when I check it with credit card bank. 4) very unprofessional front desk staff. 5) room service staff don't understand English.

  My family and I have stayed at best Western hotels for 20 years or more this Place is by far the worst experience I’ve had in any hotel first off. It says it’s by the sea. It’s really next to Highway five secondly, the room stank there were bugs in the room. We are family of five and we made our reservation for five people to adults and three children. Their accommodations were only for four people. The staff is horrible. They wouldn’t bring us towels when we complained, we asked to speak to the manager we never spoke to the aunt Manager their homeless people walking through the parking lot at the middle of the night. The hallways are dingy and dirty. It just was the most horrible experience. I had to sleep in my car to protect it from homeless people and the staff was not very kind at all on the contrary, so ensure this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at a hotel.

  Matthew at the front desk is exceptional—professional, genuinely courteous, attentive, and easily the best front desk manager I’ve ever encountered. He makes you feel welcomed, valued, and completely taken care of. His level of service reflects extraordinary credit on Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea, and frankly, employees like Matthew deserve to be recognized and rewarded. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and Matthew is a major reason why.

  A mí me gustó mucho, la atención súper, la habitación limpia, confortable, sin contratiempos, la ubicación del hotel, me gustó también, cerca de la playa y de uno que otro establecimiento y restaurante... Por mi experiencia si le doy 10/10 y porsupuesto si vuelvo.....
