  The greeting at the front desk when we arrived was minimal at best. No hello, good afternoon, no eye contact. Next, the pool and spa are closed which negates any outdoor planned activity for our one night stay (probably something to do with the work going on the sewer outside the hotel). No fan in the bathroom making it uncomfortable to be in there. The two cellphone charging ports by the bed are slow charging, if not broken. The refrigerator in the room is not cold enough to put perishables in. Truly disappointed in this Holiday In Express -- we are usually pleased with our stay with them when we stay at other locations. Honestly, we will not be staying here again.

  This is a much better hotel than Best Western right next to it. The unit of air condition is much quieter. Much better sleep.

  It was fine. Rooms were clean, motorcycle was safe in the parking lot. Was disappointed that they wouldn’t give me a late checkout, even when I offered to pay some type of day use rate, the only option was to get the room for a second night, even if I wasn’t going to spend the night the second night. I had to rush to Phoenix to take a video call since they wouldn’t let me have a late check out.

  Ive stayed here a few times now and it just keeps getting worse. Last time I was there my room electronic lock wouldnt work so every day I had to ask the desk lady to come up and open my door. If I left my room for any reason, same process. Go downstairs and have someone come up and open my door or leave my room unsecured. This time the tiles on my floor were moving when I walked on then and stuck up and at one point it sliced my foot (not bad but there was blood) and thats just wrong. The shower faucet was installed by a third grader as you can see in the photo. I mean come on, its so simple to install those correctly. The pool had half of Blythe vegetation floating in it, and it was open. Ice machine on the third floor didnt work and breakfast was lacking to say the least. May need to start looking around for a hotel that cares about maintenance and the overall guest experience not just relying on the IHG name to draw folks in.

  I was impressed with the breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms. The maintenance of the room was lacking, tub drain broken, soap dispenser broken and toilet roll holder broken. Customer service was non existent for the most part. I would give less stars but in the evening I ran into Raquel when I was getting a midnight tea and she was very pleasant. Attached is a photo of two Narcans on the way to the side entrance.
