The room was decent, but the hotel itself was underwhelming for a Four Seasons. Breakfast was good, but the service left a lot to be desired.
Our server casually came over and asked, “Would you like some orange juice?” without mentioning that it cost $18 per glass. Naturally, everyone at the table said yes, and we ended up spending over $50 on orange juice alone. While I understand premium hotels charge premium prices, I would have appreciated clearer communication about the cost instead of feeling like it was casually offered. That experience left a bad impression.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The hotel is withholding my personal belongings simply because I was not the person who made the reservation. My partner at the time booked a suite for both of us.
I checked in properly using my passport and ID, was officially registered as a guest, and stayed in the suite. We both came from Dubai.
Despite this, the hotel refuses to return my personal belongings to me, claiming it is for “security reasons.” I find this explanation completely unreasonable. We live in Dubai and have stayed in many hotels, and we have never experienced anything like this.
They offered to ship the shoes to me, and I even would have paid for the shipping costs. However, they later withdrew their offer again. I have honestly never experienced anything like this before.
The item being withheld is a pair of my Hermes shoes worth over USD 1,300. They are clearly my personal property, yet the hotel insists on releasing them only to the person who made the booking. 🤦🏻♀️
Ladies, please think twice before checking into this hotel with your partner or spouse. If you accidentally leave behind your own belongings, you are not able to collect them yourself—even if you can prove your identity and were an officially registered guest! You don’t get your things back from your stay!!
I find this policy extremely disappointing. A hotel should be able to distinguish between protecting guests’ security and refusing to return clearly identifiable personal belongings to their rightful owner. In my opinion, this situation was handled with a complete lack of common sense and customer care.

Disappointing experience. After briefly leaving my table to use the restroom, I returned to find it had been changed. I also felt rushed throughout my breakfast, with the bill being brought before I was ready. The service made me feel unwelcome rather than relaxed.
