  Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una notte durante un on the road. La camera era spaziosa e, tutto sommato, pulita. Il check-in è stato rapido e il parcheggio comodo. La struttura inizia a mostrare qualche segno del tempo e avrebbe bisogno di un po' di manutenzione e di un rinnovamento, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i bagni in camera. Nel complesso è una buona soluzione per chi è di passaggio a Bakersfield e cerca un hotel funzionale per una notte, con un rapporto qualità/prezzo discreto.

  I love the this hotel. Been staying here for work. The staff is extremely accommodating. Rooms are freshened up and cleaned daily and also very affordable. I love coming back from work to a clean room and fresh towels. Local attractions, bars and restaurants are plentiful within short distance from the hotel, you can even walk if it's not too hot out. I like that it is gated, so I do not have to worry about my tools in my vehicle. The pool is very refreshing as well with beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel.

  I got to experience a pool party here and the location, pool, and aesthetic were on point. The hotel has the charm but the pool party brought the SoCal look to Bakersfield. The staff was friendly. The food from Mango Haus was exceptional with their poolside menu. I cannot wait for another event.

  I was very disappointed with my stay at Best Western Plus Hill House. The biggest issue was the horrible smell inside the room. The odor was overwhelming from the moment we walked in and made it very uncomfortable to stay. It felt like the room had not been properly cleaned or ventilated for a long time. To make matters worse, we found what appeared to be roach stains on the bed sheets, and we even saw a cockroach inside the room. This was completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide quality accommodations. I have attached photos showing the insect and the stains we found. Cleanliness and hygiene should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property fell far below expectations. Because of the strong odor and the apparent pest issue, I could not relax or feel comfortable during my stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to room cleanliness, pest control, and maintenance.

  Our stay at Best Western Hill House in Bakersfield was a complete pleasure. Jay at the front desk evenings greatly enhanced our stay. The fridge didn't have a freezer compartment but Jay put them in a large bag & freezer. We typically stay in Best Western exclusively as we travel across the USA and there's a few D grades up to A grade. Last night's stay was an A in rooming and an A in hospitality.
