Room was clean and comfortable. Not the newest and not a Disney Hotel, but this place is perfect for a place to crash. It was about a 10 minute walk to Disney, which was long at the end of the day. There is no hotel shuttle. Very close to the convention center thought! Room cleaning is on request, but they always did a great job when it was requested. Staff were all friendly. There is breakfast and there is food available to have delivered, but not something we wanted to pay for. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Overall a great place to stay. Try to get a room in the non-attached tower. The main tower halls seemed to have a smoke smell.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For the cost, you're getting a great place to stay. Its not the closest, newest, or nicest hotel near Disneyland, but that's ok because it's affordable. The rooms are in great shape and the hotel lobby was nice. We just stayed one night so we didn't experience the entire hotel. Realistically, it's about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland with kids. They also held our bags since we flew in the morning and then left the next evening. I will definitely stay here again.
My family and I stayed at Hotel Lulu during our Disneyland trip after booking through Expedia. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
The most serious issue happened on the second day of our stay, which was the first day housekeeping entered our room. Before leaving for Disneyland, our iPad was in perfect working condition with no physical damage. When we returned that evening, it had been damaged. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk manager. He was courteous and said he would investigate and call me with an update, but I never received that call.
That same evening, I asked the manager if he could store my gel pad in the freezer, and he agreed. When I brought it to him the following day, I asked about the investigation. He told me it had concluded that the housekeeper did not damage the iPad. When I asked how it could have been damaged while left in our room if housekeeping was not responsible, he had no explanation.
The hotel refunded our stay through Expedia, and while I appreciate that gesture, it does not make up for the damage to my iPad. I am extremely disappointed that our personal belongings were damaged while in the hotel’s care, and no one accepted responsibility or provided a reasonable explanation.
There were also several other issues throughout our stay:
* From the very first shower, the bathtub drain was clogged. Water collected around our feet every time we showered.
* The elevator and hallways were extremely hot. The only area that seemed to have adequate air conditioning was the front lobby.
* The upper edges of the pool were filthy, with visible grime and writing that I noticed while getting out of the pool.
* If you want your room cleaned, you have to request housekeeping. Unfortunately, after our experience, I wish I never had.
The only five-star part of our stay was the front desk staff. They were courteous and friendly during both check-in and check-out.
Unfortunately, I will not stay at Hotel Lulu again, nor would I recommend it to others. If you value clean facilities, proper maintenance, and confidence that your belongings will be safe while you’re away from your room, I would look elsewhere.

Excellent hotel! Everything was spotless, modern, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The location is perfect—only about a 7-minute walk to Disneyland, which made our trip so much easier.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we slept great every night. The atmosphere felt safe, quiet, and very family-friendly, making it an excellent choice for anyone traveling with kids.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Disneyland!
Not what I expected. Reminds me of Circus in Las Vegas. A little creepy like a kid's sanitarium. Doors to rooms look like jail doors. Very loud and bright. My initial room was a handicapped room that smelled like urine. I asked for another room. Guy at the desk acted like the hotel was at capacity, which was more like 50%. My second room was kinda blocked by a wall unit at the very end of the hall. Service is not welconing
