Pros- - Close to the parks, a nice easy walk. - Small convenient store within the hotel was very handy - Friendly staff, the front desk ladies and the breakfast servers at the restaurant were nice and helpful - they were able to check us in early and help us with a late check out Cons- Poolside bathroom was dirty and gross. We were the only ones using the pool in the morning and went to use the bathroom. There was toilet paper all over the floor and a pool towel on the back of the toilet. We went inside to the bathrooms in the reception which honestly weren’t much cleaner. This made it seem like they weren’t cleaned from the previous day. Pool and hot tub were dirty. Excessive bugs and dirt floating everywhere and chunks of hair on the bottom of the pool. The pool water looked murky. Housekeeping refreshed our rooms and provided only 2 towels for a group of 4, did not seem like they refreshed anything other than the garbages and swapped the towels. Didn’t spot clean the rooms or refresh the beds. We went to call the reception but our in room phone was not working. Couldn’t be bothered with the hassle after a late return from the parks. The hotel just seemed old and run down- the walls in the hall ways were a mess and common spaces dirty. Overall our stay was fine, however we will likely not be back.

First, this is NOT 1 block from Disneyland. It’s a 1.1 mile walk. Second, difficult to figure out which bldg is which… stated in bldg 3. Very outdated hotel. Didn’t stock the room for 4 people (towels). Bathroom layout is terrible for such a tiny area. Almost feels like a cruise ship bathroom. There is a closer holiday inn to DL that also offers free breakfast. This one doesn’t.

I booked this for the location and walkability to Disneyland, and for that- it was phenomenal. The option for a suite was nice and allowed our family of four to feel more comfortable. The floor we were on (6) was torn up, baseboards off, wallpaper peeling. Our room itself made me feel a little icky. Crumbs on the kitchenette area floor, a used crumpled plastic cup by the window on the floor in the livingroom area, and what appeared to be dog food (?) on the floor by the dresser- so not really the cleanest room. Wallpaper also peeling here and the thermostat was a little wonky. Overall, I liked the stay because of proximity, but cleanliness could have/should have been better.

I would avoid this hotel completely. The only benefit from this hotel is the 20 minute walk to Disneyland. Few days into our stay, we had heard a noise at 12:00am. Which sounded like a rodent had been chewing on plastic. With high concern, I took this upon the front desk. The security guard said it was a mouse, while the man who is working at the front desk had denied it. The front desk had given us a new room, but had to move all of our personal belongings at 1:00am which became a hassle. The following morning, I had discovered a cockroach in my chip bag! As a panic, I rolled it up and threw it into a trash can so I can bring it to the front desk. Just to note, the chip bag never left our hotel room and I made sure to seal it before we left to the parks. We had requested to check out a day earlier than expected. The two people working at the front desk didn't want to check inside the bag either and believed me. They were not even informed prior about the rodent issue too. By this time, we should have been in the park 4-5 hours ago within the morning. But instead, we spent time having to pack and finding a different hotel to stay at. This was our very last day at Disneyland/DCA too, so this was super upsetting. This hotel is supposed to be a "Good Neighbor Hotel", but this hotel does not meet standards at all which is unacceptable. On the same day of check out, we had talked to City Hall within Disneyland Park. Ultimately, they told us to complain about this issue to the General Manager and were very appreciative about letting them know about these issues.

We just stayed here for the last 5 days and we had the very best experience. The rooms were nice, the motel was nice, the pool was heated, the hot tub was clean. Everything was super clean. But most of all the staff was AMAZING! From the front desk, to house keeping and kitchen staff. All were super nice and helpful. We will stay again on our next trip to Disneyland. I will say it is about a 15 minute walk to the beginning of downtown Disney but to actually get into the parks it was about 45 minutes (we also had little ones walking)
