  Stayed here with my family during our vacation. This property is one of the most unattended properties I have stayed in and I've stayed at different Holiday inns around Southern California. Being close proximity to the theme parks, and beaches you would think they would pay attention to detail or have a better customer service. Had issues I addressed to the front desk but didn't get taken care at all and some weren't in a timely manner. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but still didn't meet my standards. I was hoping for a better stay specially after addressing my concerns to them, but seems like they lack in the communication and execution department. Needless to say I won't be staying here anymore. Save your time, money and sanity and stay elsewhere. I do not recommend staying here.

  This is an older hotel. I'm sure it sparkled in it's day. The room is up-to-date. I was real disappointed that the only bathroom was out of order when arriving after a 3-hour drive. I don't know if the few workers attitude is due to doing more with less, just part of the area, or time of day. I think we all need to find our happiness again, me included.

  Location was great but the room had huge roaches! We asked for another room and they did not have. My family was unwilling to stay in a room with roaches of that size. The manager is now ghosting me.. and we are out over $300 for two nights we couldn’t use. Very dissatisfied. I’ve been a loyal IHG customer but because this stay was booked through Priceline they said the location would have to make things right. Guess they are unwilling to do that. Rethink Priceline and IHG. This was one of them in the bathtub. Like the size of a small mouse!

  The Good: easy check-in and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. One good thing Holiday Inn has are the cinnamon rolls! The bad: the cable TV. You can't just choose channel 4 for NBC as an example. This spectrum....there are channel numbers like 47-2 or 66-1. This is not just for this hotel, but, supply a channel directory in the room! Or print up a bunch and hand them out at check-in! Also, make sure the local channels are included. They were unavailable due to bad signal quality.and, no coffee makers in the room, had to go to the lobby. The ugly: the room location. I dont think this was always an express. You go in the lobby, then as you head to the elevator there are 3 steps up (so the luggage cart or a wheelchair won't make it) there is an alternate way in.... the first 6 rooms are actually in an open area, the hallway starts later. So my room was in tje sweetspot where people stood at the elevator and yelled at each other, housekeeping carts and who knows what else clunking by at all hours, the entrance from the parking, laundry room and pool where all rught there. It was very loud. My do not disturb sign didn't disturb anyone out there! And worse of all, the toilet didn't flush. It would start but then just stop. I called and they were going to send someone. I tried again and it flushed. There must be a special way to push the handle down? I canceled maintenance. But I continued to have the problem. I couldn't have been the only one? It worked once in a while, but I didnt call back.

  I would not recommend staying here if you have kids. Hotel is not in the best neighborhood, there was no towels provided just a few wash cloths. There seemed to be no lights on in the hallways after a certain hour of the night into the morning with just some eery red security lights only. One of the exterior doors into the hotel was broken so just anyone could walk in, when mentioned to the front desk they said they would send someone right away to fix. Woke up next morning still broken. This is a security risk to anyone staying at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and coffee was available all day, that was probably one of the few positives. The hotel is very shabby and run down and not well maintained.
