Dumbo is a pretty basic carnival ride that's been given a touch of that special Disney magic. It's a classic Fantasyland staple for a reason, and I don't think any visit to the parks would be complete without a spin in the cute little flying elephants. The lines here can get very long, especially during the busier times of day. Go either first thing in the morning at rope drop or later in the evening for a shorter wait time. Kids are drawn to this ride because it's just super cute and colorful, and the idea of piloting your very own Dumbo is irresistible no matter your age. Each ride vehicle holds up to two adults but Pooh sized visitors may want to ask for their own Dumbo. There's a seat belt that you strap on yourself, and the Dumbos have an open door on the side so make sure you seat any kids towards the inside rather than the outside of the ride vehicle. I'm not a fan of heights, but the ride doesn't go very far up so I am able to ride it. I like that you can control how high or low your Dumbo flies (but at the end, all of the cars are sent to the top and the highest point, and you can't control that so be aware if you are super afraid of heights). The ride is so fun and basic, it just spins around in a circle while you make your Dumbo fly higher or lower and enjoy the views of Fantasyland and the castle in the background. This is a classic Disneyland attraction that is well worth your time.

A timeless favorite for kids! I always enjoy riding this with my little ones, it’s fun watching them laugh and play as we go up and down. The lines can get pretty long and the ride itself is short, but it’s still worth it. Once you’re at the top, you get a great view of the park, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

This was my first ride at Disneyland. I briefly remember going on this ride when I was 2. Coming back to this ride over 12 years later brings back so much nostalgia and memories. Flying in an elephant is so much fun especially with your friends. I usually ride this at night and wait about 20-30 minutes.

Never got to ride it. Posted wait times were always too long.

Un clásico que no puede faltar en tu visita a Disneyland. Es linda y agradable estar volando sintiendo el aire y viendo a la gente pasar.
