I reserved a premium club room for 3 people and I was shocked to enter the room to see 1 king size bed and a chair that converted to a rock hard chair bed?? Is that even a thing? When I called to complain and get a different room with 2 beds, I was denied. The unhelpful front desk agent claimed I had reserved a room with 1 bed, which was a blatant, ridiculous lie. Paying over 1,000 a night for a room for 3 guests when someone had to sleep on a chair is totally unacceptable. The headboard that displays the Disneyland castle lights and music was broke and not working, the robes were not in the closet , and the towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall when I tried to hang my towel. All of theses issues happened and were reported within 3 hours of arrival. I was fearful The hotel would charge me for missing robes and damaged "ammenities".
The High Key Club lounge was chaotic and the afternoon and evening offerings were sub par. They had cute, but tasteless "sandwiches" almost completely void of any ham or other fillings. The "nuggets" were filled with some kind if corn mush. It would have been the decent thing for Disney to have provided a chicken nugget, but then Disney would have had to spend a few more dollars on their club lounge. The breakfast was good though and the desert hour was good as well. During the breakfast hours, the lounge was far from pleasant. Parents allowed their small children to run wild throughout the club. I saw babies crawling on the floor that was littered with cereal and small pieces of food that had dropped off the tables. I saw other toddlers sitting and laying down on the floor between tables and in the middle of the walking path, some climbing onto chairs at unoccupued tables. Children were yelling and crying and one small child, who was allowed to wander away from his parents actually managed to take down a tower of plates in the buffet area. Broken plates came crashing to the floor. I actually felt sorry for the nice ladies and gentlemen who worked in the lounge and and had to clean up after all of this. This of course is a parenting issue and not a Disney issue. However it reflects poorly on the club level experience. I would never return to the Disneyland Hotel again. We had a wonderful time at The California Grand Rssort across the street and immediately regretted not extending our stay at that property.

The room was really small and VERY expensive. The value was low. The pool could have used better cleaning around the lunge chairs and the front desk could care less about the room issues. The extra work areas that were suggested in the common space are definitely not areas you can work. There’s a TV blaring cartoons right near the desk so there’s no ability to do calls or work if you have to… which given the prices it’s hard not to.

The room was nice and it didn't have a microwave so that was annoying. It was magical as we're not late not people, and we were able to see the fireworks from our gigantic picture window. After a long day at the park our daughter fell asleep with her ears on. ❤️
OK, so this resort is exactly what you'd expect, it's right by Disney gets you an extra Genie pass for each person going to Disney and it is all things Disney where you can actually take a tour of the hotel if you sign up early enough. However, the person doing my check-in was not the typical friendly Disney personality and was in fact kind of rude. Keep in mind they do have parking (that you have to pay for) but there is plenty. It's $10 more than paying for parking at the Disney parking structures. It was a little bit of a bummer of the service of the guy at check in because this was the first time we had stayed there and it's a pretty expensive hotel for us to stay at. We did like that. It was so close to the monorail to get writing to Disney that drop you off in Disney and we really liked the room. It was clean. The AC was wonderfully cold in the middle of a very hot summer day, and I love the little touches that have Mickey Mouse ears on them. We also liked that at the back of the hotel there was a lawn that we could watch some of the fireworks. The view wasn't wonderful and obviously it would be better if we were at Disney, but having two little babies with us, it made it nice that we could still watch the fireworks from the hotel. But I will say stands out is the amazing swimming pools and a lifeguards at the pools and the events that they hold each day. We would come back just for the pools. Would highly recommend for a summer staycay if you can just swing the cost and have time not at Disneyland.

I'm 44 years old. I've been to A LOT of resorts in my lifetime. Many family friendly resorts since we have 5 kids. BUT NEVER have I ever experienced so much micromanaging and such a tedious and upright resort!
I NEVER leave reviews. I'm just a Regular dude who enjoys life on a regular basis. But this place BASICALLY forced me to leave a negative review.
Super small rooms. Basically a motel 6 Disney'd out. Super Expensive. No running, no jumping, no having fun Basically.
By day I was done with all these petty rules. Horrible.
