  I've had the privilege of staying here a few times since it opened, and have always had an amazing time. The cast members here are simply the best of the best, and always made my family and I feel welcome. The lobby is immaculate, and the details all around are truly stunning. We had a view overlooking Grizzly Peak and it was always fun watching the park come alive as the sun rose in the morning. The DVC area is a bit of a walk, but very nice as well. I've never stayed in the DVC section myself, but had a family member who did and showed us around. If you can, I'd highly recommend splurging and staying here. There's nothing like going on Grizzly River Rapids multiple times in a row, getting drenched, and being a short walk to your hotel room to shower and change and pop back into the park via your own private entrance. Especially in the morning. I love walking in and getting a head start on nearby rides that are a bit of a walk from the main entrance. One of my favorite details of the resort is the stained glass doors at the entrance. If you ever have a chance to stop and admire them, do. They're gorgeous, and similar imagery is sprinkled throughout the resort. This hotel is truly a work of art.

  This hotel is fantastic, and you wouldn't even know from the outside how much it has to offer. Everything was perfect, but the pool area was especially luxurious. Everyone there has customer service down pat.

  Wouldn't say you get ur value . Close.to the park and lobby is only wow factor. Save the cash and go to a friendly neighbor Friday

  We are very disappointed with our stay so far at Disney’s Grand Californian. Our room had visible black mold/mildew growth along the ceiling and wall seam, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. The issue appeared extensive enough to suggest an ongoing moisture problem rather than a small cosmetic stain. Beyond looking unsanitary, it made us uncomfortable staying in the room and raised concerns about air quality and cleanliness standards. For a property that markets itself as a luxury Disney hotel, we expected much better maintenance and attention to guest safety. We notified the hotel immediately and are having to wait for them to figure out where to put us. So disappointed as this is for our daughter’s birthday.
