  I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, sometimes it’s hard to find a good affordable accommodation for a small road trip and this was perfect. Everything Napa has to offer isn’t more than 50 minutes away, most popular stuff being 15 minutes away from this location, rooms were clean and the staff currently is very helpful, young and professional people. They do have complimentary breakfast, so you’re able to save money, there are also plenty of food spots that are so walkable, literally next to the hotel such as Panda Express, Wingstop, Starbucks, Hawaiian bbq, sonic, etc. and a Walmart, in case you forget last minute items like I do

  Only quibble is they surprise you with requiring a deposit. Unexpected for the nicer hotels like this in nice areas. I usually see it at some dump that gets alot of shady guests. At least Holiday Inn Express doesn't want it in cash.

  My relatively young daughter (who is an adult) booked this as a surprise trip for us. When we arrived she was told she needed to provide her credit card - which she didn’t have. The room charge had already come out of her account, she needed to put up an additional $60 (refundable) charge on the card. She was very upset and thought we just lost a few hundred dollars. She went in angrily and was asking to complain when staff told her she could put the charge on Apple Pay. The confusion and back and forth caused us both a lot of stress after having been excited for the trip and a three hour drive. It showed a lack of knowledge on the staff’s part - why didn’t she let my daughter know of payment alternatives instead of freaking her out. After that debacle, we easily received our room assignment, ADA accessible which was perfect due to its location. Side note, the bed was too high for me and maybe for the ADA accessible rooms they can consider a little less height on the mattress. But the room was nice and spacious and clean. Located close to the entrance, the pool, the resources enter. The pillows were so comfortable- I took a nap that transported me so completely that I woke up disoriented, not sure of where we were. I didn’t know how to work the tv and the front desk person came to help me and they also quickly delivered some toiletries that we needed. The free breakfast buffet was actually very good and they also provided grab and go bags which made it nice to know we could take snacks for our drive back. We were only minutes from Napa and saw the famous Grape Crusher statue. We were also across from a Walmart and in a parking lot with a round table and coldstone. We will definitely stay there again.
