This place put the definition cheap in cheap stay. Fine if you need a budget hotel. It was clean, but maintenance and provisions were paltry. I'm cheap, but at least meet reasonable cheap standards.
The breakfast had zero protein. No hard-boiled eggs, meat, and even the yogurt machine was broken. At least run to Safeway and get a stash of yoplait yogurt, like most places, FFS. Bring your own protein, unless you are on a high carb diet.
The furniture in the room looks like Goodwill, scratched and tacky, from the 70's. Spend the money for cheap but decent looking furniture. A running fan in the bathroom would be nice, too. I had to Crack the windows to release the humid air.
I'll give it one star for location near Williams and the Grand Canyon. But maybe there is a competively priced place that at least can manage a Safeway run for eggs and yogurt, buy some garage sale furniture in decent condition, and install some bathroom fans.
Come on, do better. It's pretty bad when you under deliver on even a budget hotel. I'm beginning to suspect that certain so called brand name hotels with independent owners intentionally provide subpar accommodations.

I would not recommend staying here, especially if you're traveling with family. The room had a strong, musty odor, and every time the air conditioning ran it smelled like the filter hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival, and the beds were uncomfortable. TV was not user friendly with a lot of scrambled channels and limited options.
We also did not receive the bed size we had reserved, the pool was out of service during our stay, and communication with the front desk was difficult because of a language barrier, making it challenging to address our concerns.
Needless to say, we checked out after just one night because we didn't feel comfortable staying any longer. I have contacted the hotel to request a refund for the unused night, and their response is still pending.
Overall, this was a VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I strongly recommend choosing another hotel if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay.
Schade eigentlich

The rooms didn’t meet any hygienic standards ANY. First room we were given had a toilet dirty with fecal matter, the second one didn’t differ in this dimension, the toilet seat had pubes on it and the shower also contained hair. The host was looking at us without giving any care about it. Quoting him „I don’t care” . He also blamed us for not being able to flush the toilet saying „its not for children”. Carpets were looking like they haven’t been cleaned since the hotel opened. Didn’t want to give a refund when we wanted to leave. Just TERRIBLE wouldn’t recommend this place to no one just out of basic cleanness but the customer service made it even worse
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, I observed a tour bus that had arrived shortly before me, clearly requiring a significant number of rooms. When I reached the front desk to check in, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled on June 5th because the rooms I had booked — two rooms with two queen beds — were "no longer available."
The timing made the situation quite transparent: it appeared the hotel prioritized accommodating the tour group over honoring my existing reservation. More concerning, however, is that I was never notified of the cancellation — not by phone, not by email, and not through my booking platform.
I subsequently contacted Priceline, who investigated the matter and confirmed that the hotel had unilaterally cancelled my reservation without notifying either Priceline or me. Priceline promptly issued a full refund, and I have no complaints regarding their handling of the situation — they acted professionally and appropriately.
This hotel, however, demonstrated a clear disregard for individual guests. Cancelling a confirmed reservation without any notification — apparently to accommodate a larger, more lucrative booking — is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I would caution other travelers to be aware that their confirmed reservations may not be honored here.
